Multiplayer Framerate

I played multiplayer a few days ago, and over the days I've noticed the rock-solid framerate it gives - and all it sacrifices is some lighting and other stuff I don't even notice. The FPS level is just so smooth compared to the single player solo story, which can SOMETIMES be slow (on a bridge in the rain with lots of cars doing high speed, for example).

 

Question is - would you have been happy having multiplayer-standard graphics in the story mode, if it gave constantly high FPS?
