killinh0sinmylambo Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 Ive been reading a lot reviews from ppl that have the game and all these ppl keep complaining about hitting walls and poles when turning... The driving is realistic...you can not take turns going at 50 mph... so those of you who do deserve to smash into a wall. Even though i havent gotten my ps3 from sony back ive played it twice at my friends and the driving is not bad at all. it is what R* said it would be... realistic Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ragman1 Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 No, I wouldn't say realistic. Sure an SUV like the Patriot cant turn on a dime, they got that right. But not many vehicles I've ever driven will do 720s while going down the street and then hitting the hand brake. Also I've never been able to jump my SUV 8-12 feet in the air after hitting a curb. So, turning is realistic to a degree, the rest ins't. Its just gonna take some getting use to and I for one plan on practicing alot before jumping into the multiplayer. m0rgan Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 I don't know why people are complaining you can corner at high speeds, you need to release accelerate and hold break, then accelerate just at the right moment (perhaps add a touch of handbreak if needed) and accelerate out of the corner. sleeky Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 i dunno why people hate the driving personally when i first drove the taxi car at the start i loved it, like the way it looked then i looked at sa no suspension didn't really look good tbh il probably play GTA races more then nfs prostreet. I love how cars handle + the damage makes the game so unique (hint press brake and drive for a burnout keep it going to shred the tires !) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
