Gang Groups

Well, I was thinking. You know how in most GTA games, the gang members usually hang out in threes or fours? Which game started it? If I can remember correctly, GTA 3 has gang members who walk alone. Is that correct? Because I don't remember seeing gangsters hanging out in groups in that game. If so, does that mean VC was the first to start that? I can't really remember.

 

I like how R* made the gang members hang out in 3s and 4s. Its cool! In some games, if one starts to walk, the others follow suit. And if somebody lags behind, they run up to catch up lol. If anybody could tell me, that would be great.

I seem to recall small groups of 3 or 4 gang members standing around “chatting” in GTA 3 so I would say that was the first for the 3D series at least.

Probably I've seen 2,3's in GTAIII sometimes but not usually. Most of the times a lot of gang members can be found around the same area but not together, meaning they are most of the time alone. so VC was the first one to have a group of gangsters hanging out with each other.

Yeah, good point. IMO, it makes it more realistic if the gangsters spawn in groups. Why the hell would gangsters appear alone in real life lol? That way, it just seems like more of a video game.
