But, in SA, why do the GSF homies get to shoot with 9mms and CJ does not? Wouldn't it make sense if CJ could that, too? I mean, its better to use SMGs, but I still think we should be able to use pistols. If we used Desert Eagles, we could easily kill enemies, don't you think? Too bad we can't use hand guns. Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 I think it awesome to have the 'Recruit Everyone' cheat and the 'Peds Carry Weapons' cheat on, recruit someone with an M4 and then they do drive bys with that. It looks and sounds so cool. Also when you spray all tags and then recruit a homie with a Desert Eagle and they do a drive-by with that OT- Being able to do a drive by with a Desert Eagle (using CJ) would be so much fun. The guy with the AK-47 used it for drive-bys. It was awesome! Even if we do have all the tags and the GSF homies have Desert Eagles, they still suck at shooting lol. They're aim sucks like sh*t! It is seriously ridiculous. I mean R* could've made it slightly better. I recruited 1 homie with an MP5 and the other with a Desert Eagle, aimed at some random ped to get the firing at him and the guy with the DE was not even looking where he was shooting!! Wtf, he was looking at me. The SMG dude was looking at this ped was maybe 10-15 game metres away and he hit him maybe twice. As the guy ran off into the distance i pulled out my AK-47 and went to manual aim, the first shot i missed and then i took off his head with the second. He was ages away as well. This was happening outside the alleyway behind CJs house and the ped ran to the bridge going to the LS Forum. It was a great shot. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

D- Ice Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 (edited) I think the passengers can use any weapons as their hands are free, and can shoot in all directions as they can lean out etc... The driver, having his feet on the pedals and one hand on the wheel would realistically not be able to do that. In the mission reuniting the families, you are a passenger in Sweets can while Smoke drives. You can use the AK-47 and shoot in all directions just like the NPC's. However, in multi-player I'm not sure if the passenger can do that - probably not, which is complete bullsh*t IMO. But hey, we can chuck grenades out the window in GTA4, tho I've just finished the second mission the day before yesterday with loads of exploring and messing around lol. mark-2007 Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 If you ever put in the cheat 'Full aiming when driving' then you'll see how hard it is to shoot in any direction and dirve at the same time! In 2-player mode it was good because the passenger had full aiming - it was difficult to use though, maybe that's why GSF homies were sh*t shots? Also - the best drive-by weapon would be a type of shotgun, probably the sawn-off if it had more bullets per round (not to sure if that's what they're called in shotguns). Put infinite ammo cheat [FULLCLIP] on and the sawn-off shotgun never reloads. Though the shotgun is annoying, it reloads after every shot.The Sawn-off is annoying because it reloads way too quick and takes ages to reload but that's good you can run with it. If CJ can use a machine pistol while driving, then he should be able to use smaller guns as well. And the police should also be allowed that? GSF homies (and other gangs) always step out of their vehicle if they want to attack someone (typically someone who bumped their car). CJ should be able to fire a pistol from a bike. RPG... RPG!! On a bike it should be possible to fire a rocket. (Not a good idea if riding with a passenger.)
