Now that we have a GTA game that makes extensive use of modern technologies such as cell phones, internet, GPS ect, does that ruin the possibility of having more GTA games that go into the past? It's been fun playing in the 60's, 80', and 90's, and i always thought GTA would take it further and eventually have a game take place in the 70's or 50's. But once you have players used to being able to use GPS to get from A to B, use their cell phones to make contacts and restart missions, get faux online to check their email and all that, how can you have a game take place in the past (without any of those features) and not tick people off? GTA is not about technology you use in the game, its about making a good game in a good era and put it all together to work the best. Every era has its advantages and disadvantages.
