gtathebest4ever
what language do you think he(niko) is speaking? bosnian? serbian? (no offense to anyone) bosnian, serbian, and croatian are the same, so we wouldn't know if we heard him, but niko's serbian.
Mand'alor
i forgot what mission cutscene it was but Niko did say that he was not russian I'm pretty sure he said that when Dmitri brings you to the gun shop and Niko says to the owner "charge that to Faustin's account", to which the owner replies "f*ckin Russians are takin me for a ride" (or something like that), then Niko says 'I'm not Russian" as he is walking out the door. Niko is 100% Serbian!

QwertyAAA
It's been said, I'll say it again. There is no proof as to what country he's from. It's a fact that he was a serbian war vet, but it was not said whether he's a serbian Serbian War vet, or a Serbian War vet. There is a difference. If he was the second, well, he might have been a mercenary or something.

Niko je nejlepsi na svjete jestli je cech. i dont think he's from czech rep or slowakia (these countries are almost western countries). he might even not be from former yugoslavia (well - serbia and / or croatia or even montenegro might be a possibility - slovenia not) - (i really think he's from one of the new countries when russian union splet (<-?). so: kasachstan, usbekistan, probably ukraine would be the best contender imho. cu </dan>

i-cup
Vlad didn't call him a Serb he called him a Serf, as in Serfdom. I had subtitles on, and he called him a Serb. Besides, it's kind of hard to mistake "F" for "B." You misread. He does infact call him a SERF. It fits in with his theme of yokels and peasants also. EDIT: At some point in the story he or Roman actually mention being from Serbia. I can't exactly remember where it is said though.
Strajo D MaN
You can see the topic "He is a Serb" and after that you will be assured that he is Serbian nationality...
i-cup
well when you play darts nikos flytes have the czech republic flag on them. Did you not just see the screenshot?
