Supernautus Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 The radio stations are a little diappointing, so much so that I may start playing music through the xbox guide streamed from my pc. Seriously, there's a station that has like 6 bob marley songs in a row, while I like Bob Marley, it has to be said, there isn't a radio station around that would play six songs by the same artist in a row without a very good reason, that station seems like laziness to me on the part of rockstar, all the other stations have a mixture of different artists, but one has to be dedicated to one artist? stupid Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That the problematic aspects of the game are somehow justifiable because they're "realistic." If I want real life I'll go back to my real life. This is a game, an entertainment. Using your idiotic line of thinking, the game should involve only Niko sitting on his ass in his pyjamas all day, jerking off to porn while eating doritos. 'Cause that's "realistic" too. smudgepleb Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 I love the new radio stations, only two songs I know, which are on The Journey, Jean Michelle Jar and Aphex Twin, but the rest of the radio stations are great. Although, to be fair, I haven't played the game nearly enough to decide. Only the songs I actually know of, I like, but when I'm driving, they rarely come on. I still haven't heard Queen's "One Vision" while driving yet, or "Jdat". But the big band station rocks, the Marvin Gaye song is the sh*t, and Crackhouse is pretty damn good. You just gotta give it time, let the songs grow on you. At first, with SA, I hated the country station, but dozens and dozens of hours spent playing, and I fell in love. From the rollicking sounds of the Electric Light Orchestra, to the smooth groove of Minnie Ripperton's "Inside My Love", it's very eclectic. The slick interspersing of advertisments and music are highly professional, making one's listening experience incomparably realistic. Some of the selections are questionable, namely those of Vladistovok FM, but overall, I'd rate this title's soundtrack up there with San Andreas'. In actuality, I'm beginning to dig Grand Theft Auto IV's radio stations much more than in previous installments; they add a level of immersiveness unlike any I've ever experienced. They're more pop... I mean, Humble Pie's "Cocaine". ERIC CLAPTON FTW KTHX I KNOW the last one they had lynyrd skynyrd, tom petty, gnr, so many awesome songs... there were way more.
