scratched 360 disk!

Recommended Posts

Just got gta 4 from the local game stop, was sitting down to play it last night, opened the casing, took the disk out, looked at back of disk and it was all scratches, thought nothing of this, "maybe it will still work"... NOPE. loads the opening credits then "bad disk, please clean disk with a soft cloth and restart console"...

Phone Rockstar tec support who said" you lucky, people have been phoning in who opened casing and didnt even get a disk"

Phoned gamestop, they are changing it today....

I have the same problem since today... scratch on CD by xbox drive, after 20 hours of play (in 6 days = bullsh*t!)

Anyway, will the my game shop still replace my game ? I don't have the receipt, but i do have pictures of the launch day to prove i bought it in their stores...

It really takes the piss

I don't think they will take it if you don't have a receipt, but if you pre-ordered it, they might have it on file. I don't know how pre-orders work now though since the last game i pre-ordered was vice city back in 02'.

It was a pre-order...

I also have a clientele card, which customers use to save points, when you get a certain amount (1500 points), you get a -15 Euro reduction. Can they maybe see what you have bought with this card?

First pre-order for me ever, i have the game 6 days and already a scratch,... while i have Vice City, San Andreas, Splinter Cell, PGR3, Gears of War, Forza 2, COD4,... all games i whored, they don't even have a single scratch!
