I can only lock-on when i have no weapons selected. Any ideas? Hold L2, and R2 too shoot. So for 360, LT and RT, all the way down at the same time. I think I tried that and still got the free aim but i'll give it another try. immaculatus Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 (edited) I got the same issue, and there seems no solution to be found around the net... I can only lock-on with melee weapons. One time I could lock-on to ugly fat f*ck VLAD when the game asked me to execute him. I thought this feature would just have been unlocked from then on, but NAHHHH... I am forced to aim freely and sometimes I really don't want to. I don't think that it's a controller issue, because changing the control scheme doesn't do a thing either. Plus my controller is only two weeks old. There are some people on the net reporting this kind of problems, but there is no solution presented except for "PUSH THE TRIGGER ALL THE WAY DOWN, NOT HALF-WAY" - "f*ck you, I know that." Any ideas? Cheers. edit: Aww, man, this is driving me nuts.. New save game, changed my region, changed batteries, screamed at my dog.. nothing works! Will have to call the hotline which is 1.86 € per minute. Fubar. SUDDEN... while I'm aimlessly browsing through the options menu (Controls), it says AUTO-AIMING OFF but... but... AAAAAHHHH!!! This wasn't there before, I swear it!.. Really...
