cjbuhl
First - PS3's primarily the 60gb versions are FREEZING up . . often during the opening credits but basically anytime. Second - on the Sony PS3 forums there are over 52 pages on one post alone complaining about the game FREEZING. Third - I don't know how in the hell your supposed to find this webpage forums. I looked for 30 minutes on rockstar and the gta4 site and found nothing. I only found it once a link was posted on the Sony PS3 forums. Apparently Rockstar's sense of customer service is to hide it as much as possible. Fourth - Post here to hopefully light a fire under rockstar to fix this ridiculous oversight. DO NOT post here to tell us yours is working fine - if yours is working go play it. DO NOT post here to tell us we're all wrong like several of the other threads. All of the "freezing" posts are quickly followed up by some well meaning moron claiming that this is a quick fix and the hundreds if not thousands of us who are having this issue are morons. d00d
For the past four or five days, I played it about 5 hours a time two/three times a day. Only today it froze while I was having a shootout with police for sh*ts ad giggles. Got me worried to the sh*t, now. I have a 60GB PS3 and heard they freeze a lot more than others. slr200
Then the problem will be worse with my 20gb version. Oh crap
Shotta876
It's a great game, but not worth the struggle of freezing during missions and other important times. Played about 5 hours last night with no issue. In an hour or so today, it hit the freeze at least 2-3 times. This is disappointing as hell. R* took and extra 5-6 months and couldn't fix this sh*t? f*ck them. Honestly speaking from someone who has been excited since last March-April, I WOULDN'T EVEN BUY THIS GAME WITHOUT A PATCH BEING RELEASED.
Shotta876
FROZEN AGAIN! This is f*cking P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C. I've NEVER had an issue with a SINGLE GAME on my PS3. I am about to break the disc and say f*ck rockstar.

Shotta876
Yup. This is f*cking garbage and I am pissed. I've waited all this time for a piece of sh*t game. I was really into it last night, too. Someone asked my opinion and I said, "greatest game all time" Nah, f*ck that. Worst gaming experience ever right about now. I literally just stopped one of my friends from buying the game, and he listened to me. I am OK with it freezing online, BUT SINGLE PLAYER? That's garbage.
