But one annoying thing, who else can hardly understand what the hell Little Jacob it saying? Dont get me wrong he is a complete gangsta and a great character. But WTF is he saying half the time. lol. saintdave Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Yeah I too had trouble understanding LJ, luckily though the game gives you the option to turn on subtitles which through personal experience makes understanding him and other characters in the game much easier. At least on two occasions whilst I enabled the subtitles Vlad and Niko himself spoke their native “tongue” and the subtitles translated so at least then you would know what they were saying. Of course I hardly understand him even with subtitles (i understand practically nothing). Great character, very realistic and entertaining, but absolutely impossible to understand; even the subtitles leave a lot to the imagination. But I think it's what they were trying to achieve with the character though, delibrately making him seem a bit rough round the edges to reflect his drug abuses, etc. Still, it would be nice to know what he was on about! My best friend when I lived in Florida was Jamaicain so I understand him a little bit I love how Little Jacob and Badman call either other rude boy all the time and say respect and one love after everything and are always offering up weed to you. They probably my favorite characters. Maybe some of you guys could answer this for me? Since Manny is so intent on cleaning up the streets does it in some way involve you having to choose between letting Manny live or Little Jacob? If so I'm choosing Little Jacob that guy is tight. I like his slang and style but I don't understand him even with subs (many words are clear, but it's too fast). What Rockstar thought when they made him?
