Then a car clipped the end of another car, and the drivers got out and had a fight. A person on the street then got hit by another car, and at this point I was already getting really entertained, I couldn't believe that everything going on wasn't started by me ><. Then a car hit a fire hydrant, causing water to go flying everywhere, and I accidently bumped into a pedestrian. Gourangalol Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 I bumped into a flatbed truck with my taxi, the driver got out and started beating the sh*t out of me, he was stood behind the Boot (trunk to you yanks ) of my taxi and infront of another car, I was close to KO, when a driver (getting impatient) overtook the Parked Truck, hit the front end of my taxi, pushed my taxi into the Truck driver and crushed and killed him!! I was amazed because there was no clipping between the cars and the Truck driver, it was like he was actually stuck there! it was awesome! Me and my Nephew were in hysterics! As I rounded a corner I skidded out flying straight towards a guy coming down the bottom of some stairs. I hit the man first (he stood no chance at the speed I was going) and then side railing at an angel. The impact threw me through the windshield and onto the steps. When I got up to survey the damage, the car was realistically heavily dented in the front side I impacted on stairs, the man was dead, and his blood was smeared all over both the stairs, railing which he had been pinned against, and front of my car. that was the moment I knew this game was going to kick ass. Hmm...I was driving as fast as i could when all of a sudden i hit a bad turn and crash into a tree, niko smashes out of the front window and down some stairs..coming down i hit a cop. so im like "F*CK" i get one star i try to run and i get 2. wtf. lol So eventually i have like 4 stars and a rocket launcher.. theres like 2 helicopters i blow one up...flames everywhere.. i hit the other...it comes for me...im running..and n all the exitment i drop my contorller and nik stops. haha and the heli crashes right next to me sending me flying foward where i fall to my death. that was in the first 10mins. Loads of moments, f*cking brilliant. Then went on multiplayer, and lifted up in a chopper and could see across the whole map, sun just setting and lights coming on. O-M-F-G... I was getting out of a car, camera was pointed at the side of the car so when I stepped out i was facing the camera. Out of nowhere a bus smashes into me like in a movie when someone steps into traffic and you never see the bus coming. It was insane cause it happened the second i stepped out of the car. tarquin biscuitbarrel Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 i've played the game for 1-2 hours today and already encountered a bunch of classic moments which lead me to believe that gta4 is the best game ever made. 1. driving a beaten up car at high speeds down the wrong side of a motorway, all of a sudden flames start to appear from under the car body. i dive out of the fast moving vehicle, then while in mid-air i get smashed by an oncoming car. resulting in spectacular euphoria instant death and a sore throat from the ensuing laughter 2. buying a burger from some cheap diner, i find out that i can pick up a squeezy mustard bottle. i turn around to find a suitable guiney pig. aiming at a fat old guy i give the bottle a throw. after getting hit in the face, the weak old guy falls (euphoria lol) to the floor and rolls around in pain. i exit the diner to find an ambulance turn up, then curiosity kicks in so i decide to follow the paramedic. the paramedic began resuscitating the old man, soon enough the old guy struggles to his feet and slowly makes his way into the back of the ambulance. ey3con Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Like everyone else, I have many hilarious, WOW, and unbelievable moments within the first 10-45 minutes of play. Here is mine: Funny Moment - A cop yelled this at me during a chase "Stop or I will shoot your Tits off!" -Now that's classic! WOW Moment - I was in a shootout with the cops...instead of them running up and trying to kill me...a cop car came in and smashed into a dumpster pushing it and me against the wall and killing me. Quite a nice touch even it was by accident. Unbelievable - I have 2. 1. Someone already said this, but a cop tried to pull me from a stolen vehicle and his arm got stuck as I drove away. He's flailing all over the road like a sack of potatoes and another cop car t-bones me smashing his cop partner killing him. BLood splattered all over my car, and the front of the cop car. KICK ASS 2. Watching as the debris from an exploxed chopper come crashing down on a pissed off group of policeman. It killed about 50% of them and gave me an escape route! The EMT got out and was complaining about prank calls and I climbed onto the back of the ambulance. They began to drive away as I was still on the ambulance and I fell down and "rolled" off of the vehicle and landed on the hood of Sentinal. I rolled across the top of the car and a police cruiser hit me before I hit the road. Needless to say this, but I was "KO'd" since Niko doesn't die (it makes more sense than dying and then being alive again at the hospital). CLASSIC!!! My bro started playing and I warned him that the driving was different now. He assumed I just meant the controls. He started speeding down the street and was like "This isn't too bad like you said". That is when he skidded out of control and pinned a ped against a pole (either telephone or maybe an electric I don't know). There was blood everywhere and my bro actually made the face. I laughed my ass off. I warned him and he thought I was lying. He went to school and I played a bit more with the 911 service before I finally went to sleep. Had to be at work by 4:00 pm.
