Geriden Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 Im playing on a HDMI cable hooked up to a 22" wide screen PC monitor. when setting up my resolution settings on the 360 dash board, i have a fair few options, the trouble being the highest resolution is Too high for my monitors size and does not display anything, whereas the 1 before it (i think its 1280x768) is a bit lower than i'd like it to be. dlx Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 true.. forget it... play it at 1280 x 768... that's still 720p and then some... and that's gta's native resolution... anything above that won't make it sharper, just stretches the image. My monitor is 1680x1050 but it gives a picture in the highest resolution (1920x1080) but it cuts off around the edges... there's still no support for 16:10 monitors, sadly. Geriden Posted April 28, 2008 Author Share Posted April 28, 2008 Ah ok, mine is a 16:10, i usually play all my games e.g. Crysis using 1680x1050, i just wondered why the Xbox 360 didnt have that specific reso as an option... hopefully in time eh?
