DEV1L Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 I am playing GTA IV on the XBOX360 and the game sometimes slows down or freezes/crashes, this has happened a few times mainly during times of a lot of activity or when driving at fast speeds for a long distance. I have exchanged the game for another copy and same problem occurs, It can't be my console as all my other games work fine, hopefully this isn't going to be a major problem and no one else will experience the problem. If your car stalls from too much damage, just call 911, and then your vehicle will start when you press the gas. Then hang up the phone and you're all set to go, your car now runs. (I saw it happen to a friend.) Oh well. At least the game is still fun! And by 'ENDO' you mean wheelie, right? malignity Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 2 definite bugs have happend to me. 1. I tried to go for a helicopter ride with Brucie and was driving a 2 door car when I arrived. He has two girls with him, and he then said 'let's get in; chopper ride'. They just stood at the side of the car. I couldn't move the camera or anything, but the world was still happening around me. I turned the game off after a minute or so. When I went to do it again I took a 4 door car and had no problems. I also took a 4 door when I went boating aswell due to the fact that the two girls are there aswell. 2. As someone has mentioned; I tried getting on a moped in team mafiya work as it was an objective. I stuck mehead first on the ground and the bike in the air. Also, in the video where Niko is banging a hooker in his car, her leg pops out of the door a few times (partially). I've heard theres a slight late pop up problem here and there, is this true? Smash the window and get to the shop throw the window. Then go deeper and u will come down to the floor. Then u will fly some sec (longer than in prev. gtas) and u will pop up on the street soon. I go to get the car washed, then it tells me to get it washed agen ive tried this mission 6 times and it does the same. bpo21 Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 I have a xbox 360, no HDD, just bought the game at midnight last night, took it home, got in to the first lesson and then BAM...FREEZE, every time. Never at the same spot, but always in the first 10 minutes or so. I have tried saving the game before i goto the first mission, tried not even doing the first mission and just driving around but still same problem. Pretty much it will freeze no matter what. Called GameStop where I got it from and they said they had a regional rep. call them and they said they would have a patch out in "about a week"...this is just what they told me, not trying to start rumors. I'll be posting this on different sites so many people can see this, and know that the xbox 360's w/o the HDD are indeed having a freezing problem!
