It’s been a very VERY long wait, but finally GTA IV is almost here, (Can I get an ‘OI OI ' ) we are now in the final few hours before Grand Theft Auto IV hits the streets. Are you feeling the hype? I have been looking back on some earlier threads and predictions of what GTAIV will be like. Some people were pretty dam close, and some people were, hmm, well, on large amounts of drugs!! They should make a bar, where you can get drunk. Then, you can drive around just like in the mission "Boomshine Saigon"... I thought that was fun, would be kinda cool if you can do it whenever you want =P well they could make it on X-b0X and there should be a 2 playa mode and u should be able to steal a wheelchair off someone and roll your way to freedom "At night it is dark, desolate, and very dangerous" Very dangerous?! Nothing that dangerous ever happens... I think that the Subways and stuff should actually be scary to go down into... People with glocks and magnums down there.. you go down there, get mugged, be happy to make it out alive, that's the way it should be. Or maybe a small street gang with knives and baseball bats mug you I have read something about the "episodic content" planned by Rockstar. Imagine if the base game package included maps for UK. In the future Rockstar would map out another country, or part of it, like Portugal and release the maps as episodic content. Once this map is loaded, a plane ticket to Portugal will become available for purchase from Heathrow airport. They could continue to build the world this way, piece by piece making more and more tickets available as they go. They could even include new missions and foreign vehicles in this way (story example, fellow gang member calls and says "I have a friend in Spain who needs some muscle"). People WILL buy these expansion maps if they exist. There is no doubt in my mind. I think it would be really funny if while in your car and you're being chased by the FBI (and the police), after acquiring a particular wanted level, the radio station playing changes to breaking news and a news chopper is following you describing your every move I've got the next version all mapped out. Hillbilly deluxe where you steal tractors, do thefarmers daughter, hear the battle of the banjoes in the background in unison with the YEHAW's and the SQUEAL LIKE A PIG BOY SQUEAL!!!!! The begining.... and last but not least, Some game trailers. The most anticipated moment in a long time here at GTANet, the GTA community and in all of the gaming industry is upon us today and we're excited as you are. We're moments away from getting the first glimpse at a new era in the GTA series and we can just speculate what it all will entail. Will it be London or New York, or even both? Rockstar Games did an excellent job at keeping things silent so we just can't say until then... But that's not all. I have seen allot of people post how they will not be coming back to GTAF after the release. Here is a few reason why you SHOULD come back. • Funny things pedestrians say thread people posting things they have heard on the streets of Liberty City • Funny happenings in Liberty City funny stories of what Niko has got upto, and strange happening's going on around town • Cheat development All those crazy cheats Rockstar put into the game, there will be a dedicated thread to all cheats and hacks for GTAIV • Secrets & Easter eggs • Gameplay & mission help • Stunting Video • Multiplayer chat • DLC information for both PS and Xbox • PC release • PC modding (New skins, cars, buildings, town's, user created mission • Mod showroom Showing all user made creations (you can check out the GTAIII / VC / SA showroom HERE this is just a fraction of what will be posted after the release. We are the largest GTA community on the entire planet, this is home don't forget to check out my sig at the bottom of the post to watch the clock hit 00:00:00 So, what now? Grab your copy of GTAIV and run forest run all the way home.
