I'm scared and confused Yea I have a launch console with a benq and am concerned right now. Can anyone confirm that this doesn't happen with all benq drives...better yet can someone post a video with the slow texture loading with the benq? This sounds similar to the bully problems on older consoles...maybe a patch will be coming? zooloo75
Sorry dude, you better send your xbox in for a repair, the benQ's are no good, they will lead up to overheating and freezing, then eventually the RROD, i've sent my 360 in and they replaced the drive with a hitachi, (very good drive!!) AP5MVP
i dont have any intention of being a fan boy when i ask this, with the download for the PS3 when you start up GTA will there be any of this happening, or do you think it will be running smoothly? Nosterex
Sad new guys i have GTA4 on both PS3 and 360 and both have these problems discussed. Also the world blur will give u a headache before too long. looks like the mass effect scenario all over again. Pretty disappointed. p.s. The RROD isn't caused by the drive, it is caused by 4 chips overheating that sit under the 360 motherboard, super gluing pennies to each chip helps disperse the heat ,although i wont be doing that myself. and lets face it,..we shouldn't have to. mikas
I've got Xbox 360 arcade, Ben-Q dvd drive and I'm having the same texture problems with GTA 4 (Original version). Driving in high speed it's hard to play, road and buildings are missing, I have to stop and wait unitil textures are loaded. But my dvd drive is flashed, so maybe I need to change speed of my drive (I have to find out, what sped is it now) and if it is 8x, i will change it to 12x, maybe that would help...anyone tried that ?
