Cometman Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 hello , now that my gta sa is almost good to play my user tracks aren`t playing, don`t know why, i have all the files in the user tracks folder, not shortcuts, real files, and i do the scan i it doesn`t play anything, i have multiple players installed (wmp 11, winamp, quicktime) i have vista codecs installed, and it doesn`t play any hints please Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
gtamodder Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 I have had this problem on Vista, what I did was to fix it was, Right click gta_sa.exe, click properties, click Compatibilty, and choose Windows XP Service Pack 2, then click apply then ok. Cometman Posted April 28, 2008 Author Share Posted April 28, 2008 I have had this problem on Vista, what I did was to fix it was, Right click gta_sa.exe, click properties, click Compatibilty, and choose Windows XP Service Pack 2, then click apply then ok. i did it and it resolved the problem now its playing nicely hehe great! the problem now is the saves disappear, i do load game and the saves aren`t present! any hint on this one? Your saved games Directory changes. Go to My Documents, open GTA San Andreas User Files, copy your save game (it would be named GTASAsf1.b if it was in Slot 1, if slot 6 it would be GTASAsf6.b, etc). Copy it, and paste it in GTA San Andreas User Files in Public/Public Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files. thank you very much issue resolved 2 things i learned whit all these problems, if i turn compatibility mode to xp sp2 the mouse doesn`t work even pausing and entering the game again 1000 times, if i set the compatibility mode to 98 /me the mouse works after entering pause menu and game again 2 or 3 times, the other thing is if i set compatibility mode xp sp2 the game gets the user tracks from my documents / gta folder, if compatibility mode set to 98 /me the game gets the user tracks from public documents ( all users of the pc) gta folder Edited April 28, 2008 by Cometman Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
