Is the PS3 HD load at every startup?

first time...as i have previously posted...first time takes between 7 and 10 mins...then from a cold start..turn on ps3 and to play game...takes 1.45 mins.

1.45? Isn't it supposed to be faster than the 360 version? I saw a YouTube video (360 version) showing the game loading from start and it was 58 seconds from the game starting to when he could move Niko about.

 

Not arguing, I just wanna know. Either the video I saw was edited or the PS3 is unusually slow loading from HDD, which makes no sense.

nope..ps3 set to boot straight into game if there is one inserted...just turn on, wait 1.45 then play.

I think he meant that the 360 boot would have been timed from starting the actual game.

 

And the PS3 one as you said included turning on the console... a cold start.

Oh right, yeah it was. It started when the screen faded to black from the Xbox dashboard. Either way it's still decent, we're all used to GTA's initial load time by now.
