batik89
The best quality picture you can have is 1080p through a HDMI cable. VGA only looks better on 720p etc because it blurs the fact that either a) your screen/tv is sh*t or b) the fact that 720p isn't all that HD. Get HDMI and a screen which can handle 1080p natively. The game itself is rendered at 720, having a TV with 1080 isn't suddenly gonna add more detail into the game. yeah you right sir. the max resolution for GTA IV was only 720p. i have already test it on both version (720p & 1080p) and 720p more sharp than 1080p although 720p isn't full definition. i don't know why. that it's true. inveni0
VGA is NOT better than Digital. That's like saying cassette tapes are better than CDs. So, I'm assuming you're talking about DVI and not VGA. DVI is equivalent to HDMI, minus the audio stream. DVI is definitely better than VGA--but I struggle to notice a difference between DVI and HDMI. VGA and HDMI looks exactly the same IMO...
DDR Midian
VGA is NOT better than Digital. That's like saying cassette tapes are better than CDs. That's a pretty lame comparison, just about everyone can tell the difference between tapes and CDs. VGA/HDMI isn't noticeable to most people, and it still depends on the screen used. The largest difference is in interference and refresh. Monitors/TVs with low refresh rates will show a smaller performance difference than ones with higher refresh rates. The difference between the two isn't the elimination of jaggies or something startlingly obvious like that.
