Ten1220 Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 Quick question from all of you and your wild (apprecited) opinions or knowledge. I do not have a hard drive on my 360. I have a memory card which is basically empty, with only one saved game file from RSV 2 on it. Am I going to have any trouble playing, loading, or enjoying GTA IV both single and multiplayer without a hard drive? It seems as though I wouldn't but I'm just curious as to your thoughts. I mean, I don't mind waiting longer for the game to actually load up initially, but I don't wanna experience lag due to the lack of hard drive while I'm playing. My internet is hard wired and is dedicated to the 360, so I will never really slow down in multiplayer- unless I need that hard drive to keep up with my buddies who do have it. Anyway, your response is appreciated and I apologize in advance if this thread exists already. My search function came up with nothing though. Thanks. But I have heard that there is an option to install some of the game so it runs better, though no real confirmation whether you can. Long story shot, you should be right mate . But you will need one if you want the dowloadable content wen it comes out. Read the KOTAKU review, not install for XBOX360. Only the PS3 has a HDD install since all the PS3's have hdd's. The only reason the ps3 has one is blue ray while being much bigger is much slower. if it didnt have it load times would be horrible. dvds are quicker. 360 doesnt need an install. So I bought it and then drove to Walmart and bought a small black fan to provide extra cooling from the sides. I'm seriously neurotic and should be shot. I need nothing to go wrong with this game.
