The new weapon buying system

Instead of buying more ammo at the price of the gun, you only have to buy extra ammo which is a fraction of the cost of the weapon itself.

And you have limits on the ammo. Like with the assualt guns; e.g. carbine, you can only have 30/570 so 600 bullets. And you can only have 25 grenades.

I think it's much better than having 99999999 ammo and never running out.

Ammo seems to be less of a problem in this game anyway; it's not used as excessively because the combat system is more realistic, headshots finish someone off much quicker than body shots.

I think it's awesome, the fact that you don't know where these underground gun shops are until you're taken there by a friend is great. The way the guns are just sitting there on the shelf and you can actually pick them up and see how they look is great.

That should be right, if you have the gun already and you only want ammo, it shouldn't cost you the price of a gun for some more ammo especially when you don't get that much money early on.

Even though they've capped the ammo limits they've left enough ammo to go on big rampages.

I hope you'll really need to buy guns in IV cause in all of the previous games I didn't use the Ammu-Nation at all.

Yeah i think you can buy off him. You have to do a few missions for him and if your his freind he sells them cheaper to you.

LJ is definitley a person you want to keep friends with.

$300 for armour and he can come to you instead of you driving quite a distance.

$1000 for a grenade or $700 form LJ.

I see your point but at the same time rockstar wanted to make a reallife game.

Then again, it's not entirely realistic that he can carry six-hundred bullets and twenty-five grenaes in the first place.

I have to say, the combat and aiming system are incredible. It's so much easier to kill people when you can just slide to their head and pop a quick shot. At first everything about the cover system and aiming had me struggling, but with practice they are the best I've used personally when it comes to shooters.

The ammo really does last longer.

Yeah, the only reason one would need 999999 bullets is just for b.s rampages and if they are playing San Andreas because you always had to do those stupid ass Gang Territory missions.

I think the new system is alright. I have yet to run out of ammo and the Shotgun is SWEEEEEET!!!
