Macauley Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 We played some of the GTAIII series A LOT I think we all will agree, especially San Andreas, which a huge amount of people still play everyday. But, now that that game is could be considered overplayed, GTA4 is in a smaller play field (albeit much more vertical) and this type of game we have played for over 7 years, even with every addition taken into account (Euphoria, AI, multiplayer for example), will we play and love Grand Theft Auto IV just as much as the GTAIII series? I spent a hell of a lot of time just wandering around, listening to peds and exploring the three cities, as well as just tooling around in the little towns. Now that we can climb properly and have a much much more 3D environment, in terms of verticality, I'll probably spend months just trying to get to the top of every building I can. I'll be looking for all of the interior-filled buildings and generally just looking at everything that's been included in the environment. I'm sure I'll get done with the story fairly quickly, so I'll spend a good long while looking at what else I can do. Even after completing San An 100% (which I did on PC, PS2 and XBox) I spent a lot of time in there, just seeing all of the different peds and trying to hear as much of the dialogue as I could. As recently as three months ago, I was still hearing snippets of ped-chat that I hadn't heard before, and noticing peds I'd not seen before. Liberty City offers even more in terms of discovery, and I can't wait to find it all. 24 hours to go! Signatures are dumb anyway. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But i also have a thing that i do ever since Vice City, which is i have one save for "Completion 100% without cheats", save two for "Completion 100% with cheats" and the other saves just for f*cking around That usually adds alot of replay value for me, not sure for others though.
