Secondly, I'm not from america, where I'm from it's illegal to carry guns. And guess what? it works. We got such a low crime rate i don't have to worry about some crackhead jumping me for my game. I live in a neighborhood where the houses cost a minimum of $500,000 and upwards of 3 million dollars... And there's still horrible crimes that happen here. Managers of fast food restaurants get shot and killed, police men get ran over and killed on purpose, dads kill their daughters because they find out they had sex with their boyfriend who is 10 years older than her. Anyway I have been thinking about this for a while. I will walk about three blocks from school to the mall to pick it up, then back to school. After my last block I'll take the bus home (1 hour ride) nobody will know that I have it so I'm guessing I'll be all good. If somebody follows me back to school then wais two-three hours for me to come back out then I don't know if I can defend myself against a person like that. @josh995 : lol Wow, life is hard in the hood.... Generally speaking, I have never carried a weapon and still don't...I do my best to avoid situations that could escalate into violence, you'd be surprised at how effective you can be if you look for alternatives to battle. Sometimes, it can't be avoided- I understand and realize this but I feel that if I were to carry a gun, I'd be more apt to produce it and thus, fire it. I do own a gun, and I own several dozen swords, knives and other edged weapons. Hm. Might bring the Hissatsu with me...no one will see it until its too late. pocketdave Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 For the GTA event, I plan on driving my car full speed towards gamestop, timing it so that I arrive seconds before midnight, bail out of the still moving vehicle which takes out the first 10 or so people in line, while I roll right into the store, grab my pre-ordered, pre-paid game, demand a 2nd copy of the game as I brandish my forehead-cracking bat, run back out the front window tossing a grenade over my shoulder into the store, use the resulting explosion to propel me through the air into a passing convertible, the driver of which (a smug politician type) will be knocked out the side of the car, and I drive home with the hotty in the passenger seat who I bring inside the apartment, raise my eyebrows questioningly at my wife who sternly shakes her head disagreeing to the threesome, and I take advantage of the fact that I'm on the couch all night to play GTA4 until I die from sheer awesomeness.
