I talked to the guy, he said just come about 20 minutes after 12 to avoid the GTA rush, and youll spend less time waiting there and have less people to worry about. When we launched the iPhones (I work for O2 retail) we had plenty of people turning up on their own between 6 and 10 to collect them. pistonhead78 Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 (edited) i dunno anout you but even in the "rough" areas in the UK i dont think anyone would mug someone for a GTA game..... and also may i add i dnt see the point of going to a "midnight launch!" its just full of jobless boffs! unless of course the sad ones are going to come home at 12.30 at night and play it for 6 hours straight???? why not just wait 7 hours and go down during the day! cuz i for one have a job and a life lol i dnt mind waiting longer! All im worrying about is if ill need to mug somebody if they grab the last PS3 copy (Gamestation, HMV, Zavvi and Game in my area are all sold out if you want a ps3). When I went to get my PS3 just this Saturday, I brought my buddy and a well-concealed blade with me. And that was broad daylight. I may travel in fours tonight specifically cause of that. Plus, a lot of people know about this game. And trust me there are people that will be buying a system tonight. Though I recommend that if you are getting a system today, grab it first, drop it back home and then, grab GTA tonight.
