Honestly, ppl in this topic are being such babies.. GTA was never about bowling or darts, its all about stealing vehicles and killing sh!t the ones who complain do not deserve to play GTA4 at all imo... wow elpartizan good job tell you what my sparkling child, ill mail you my 360 if you can outgun me and 7 of my friends pick whoever you want for your crew. your team will be the Jets AND the Sharks. I would have thought at least one would have fleetingly mentioned something along the lines of, "the comedy clubs aren't accessible in online free roam" etc. It's either part of a master plan which they are all in on (hopefully) or was just not considered as important due to the greatness of the game regardless. Maybe a problem with how to do it? with 16 people only 2 play at once while others f*ck about shooting you and messing game up jumping on the tables in pool ect. Fingers crossed for a DLC. We went ahead and named them DIFFERENTLY just for you, our fans, to MAXIMIZE gameplay and interactivity!! Order NOW !! loool yeah. and even better: Free mode has NO POINTS! so forget about ranking up with it! now it is completely useless :S i really hope we are wrong lol whoa didn't know that wow there is really no purpose for Free Roam other than to learn the maps for tactical purposes. no penalties, no rewards, no pub games or nightlife good job rockstar, that was a f*cking stroke of genius Although I think it would be fun with these minigames in freeroam, just think of the endless possibilities. There are a few great topics with ideas that sounds awesome. So what you can't go bowling, take ten friends and drive a minivan into them. SO what you can't play dart, throw a hot dog in your friends face! I think freeroam is where I will be spending most of my time, just trying to have a laugh with some friends. I mean i could never see my self playing pool and gettin drunk on a game thats waht you go down the pub for in real life, right? Seems like the most obvious thing to do in my mind, since so many people have the game before the 29th maybe they anticipated this and saved the best for last? Zcheese Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 bowling, darting and comedy clubs can be easily done in real life... when you can't have it that it isn't in IV go with youre friends to the nearest bar and go darting / bowling. free roam goes about doing a driveby on innocodent poeple and bringing hell and chaos... due to the size of the map and difference in areas there are still almost endless possibilities. Enough to warrant calling R* a bunch of asses or hating the game or free roam as a result? Dude, I'm glad free roam is a mode. I plan on logging in with my friends and just going apesh*t.
