The point that you're missing is that in almost any other game you wouldn't even have the opportunity to nitpick the absence of such a feature, as it wouldn't even occur to you that it could, possibly, be present. The point is that it never was a feature to begin with. The only reason people are "disappointed" about it is because they've worked themselves up into some fervor about "how many beers we were going to have with our friends in GTA," and are now disappointed they can't do that. Instead of spending the day before GTA's release created bloated threads about features that were only imagined to exist in the first place ... well ... try to show some appreciation.
