So what is going on at gamestop the 29th?

I preordered gta 4 like a year ago, and got a call yesturday saying something about joing them from 6 to 12 midnight something like that, and that for every game i trade in for gta 4 i get 20% on top of that? ???????

OK lots of people have been asking about the 6pm - 12pm thing.

 

The big thing about this is they want to speed up the process of handing out games so we can get home and have the time of our lives. So they are asking you to come in at 6pm or around then so you can pay for the game (if you haven't yet) or get your game receipt for the actual purchase of the game. You currently do not have a receipt to buy the game it is just a reservation receipt. Now you don't have to do this, but it will speed up the time the other of us that do do this have to wait in line.

 

You get an extra 20% in trade-in value for your games. (Its just less of a profit for Gamestop, but they still make a killing of doing so)

If I paid in full, I'm assuming I should still show up early in order to get the game receipt so I can just grab the game...? If I remember correctly, I was under the assumption it'd be possible to come in at midnight and grab the copy but I guess not.

From what I remember if you already paid it in full and your in line, a worker from there comes outside every now and then and mentions that if you already have paid in full, to just come to a separate line in which you just pick up your game.

OK so I can just get there around 10:30-11, and just wait in line to grab the game? Don't have the receipt with me, just ID since I pre-ordered a long time ago... Thanks.
