whre i can get the ammo of M249

i found all 99 balloons and i went to my safehouse to pick up the m249 and then it only gives me 100 bullets and i found on some screenshots there m249 ammo was 9400 or something what i should do to increase the ammo of my M249

As you head into the Film Studios on Prawn Island

 

1. Go into the big building 1st on your right

2 Look to your left and there should be some planks of wood that'll take you up to the top of the catwalk

3.There's a M249 there

 

It's the only spawning place other than 99 balloons

You are right about the safe house colloections, but Ammunations don't sell the M249, only the Minigun.

 

But the way I do it is collect as much as possible early on (right after the 3rd mission of the game and in between when i'm not doing a mission, I use the pipe teleportation trick to get to the East Island early to collect the good weapons, rinse and repeat to max. ammo fast. Or, Just collect from all avsailable safe houses, save collect save as many times as needed to collect ammo.

 

I'm not sure about VCS, but in GTA 3, if you enter your garage, touch the back wall, and your weapons collections will respawn.-try that and see if it works.

Over by the airport, there is a dirt mound with a police bribe over it with a orange fence around it, behind that there is a pipe. Get on top of the mound and jump toward the back of the pipe-may take a few tries to work, (sometimes it does work first time though), but it will spawn you over in Link Leafs Golf coarse (which is on the east island). It works great on the PS2 version, but for some reason I can't get it to work on the PSP version. Hope this helps.
