Maybe because I was almost 18 at the time and can remember the 80's in all it's "Dynasty". Then again we Gen Y'ers 1975-1989? borns can at least remember the 1990's. I must admit that I am partial to my early 80's born. But anyone who can remember the !980's early 1990's HBO "Starship opening theme" is cool with me. GOOGLE IT. In response to the [much] earlier posts arguing against the original point of this topic: As an older gamer I know that all players, no matter what age, have the ability to act like morons. But it's worse for older players to play with the morons under 15 because if you're drawn into an argument you can't win. Even if you do manage to win you still feel like a tool because you just had a fight with a 12 year old. To give the 15 year olds some perspective - that's like you trying to feel better after beating a 5 year old. The other reason I see a purpose for this thread is because there is obviously a social side to multiplayer that goes beyond the game. Having similar experiences and interests is a good starting point around which to form of group of people who like to game together. I can find immature abusive twats online anytime I want. Sometimes you want to be with people like yourself and people in their thirties seem to be a mostly hidden minority.
