The latest, Microsoft-endorsed, Grand Theft Auto IV special edition issue of Computer and Video Games magazine suggests that the 360 DLC is to the perfect scoring GTA IV as "Vice City or San Andreas were [to] GTA III," and later, in simpler terms, "Rockstar is clearly hinting at new downloadable cities" for the title. While this infinitely awesome feature might be technically and fiscally possible, we must keep a firm grasp on our cynically-tinted monocles until official confirmation arises. Still, it's tough not to wonder what cities Rockstar could build knock-off replicas of to add to their latest title -- perhaps an Atlantic City clone? A geographically-appropriate rendering of New Jersey? A mock-up of the bustling metropolis of Mud Lick, KY? The possibilities are endless! Royal55 Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 I think that the FlyUS ads seen numerous times In trailers and screenshots hints that once you download a city (assuming that's what the DLC Is) you can purchase a ticket at Francis International Airport to fly to your downloaded destination. I think It sounds reasonable and makes sense. I'm no tech genious but there must be some way to make peds, cars and other things spawn without actually redownloading them to the new maps. Yeah Thats What I Meen The M$ DLC is 10 Hours Soo I guess It Isnt Any New Cities or So, But They Did Say About More Downloadable Content For Both Platforms I Meen They Would Give A New Vice City Or A New CIty Just For The 360... Because they already made $50,000,000... Microsoft bought the rights for 50 million, yes 50 million... you do realise crackdown only cost 50 million to make. I'm pretty sure they can afford to create a new island or two with $50,000,000 then they have sales on top of that. They'll make a killing on this don't worry. I think a couple of new islands would be nice or a new MINI destination (eg: mabey a mini vacation spot with a beach, full resort, and hotel?) Im not going to pay for missions when i could just restart the game or something. Man they got to give some toys to play with, things to do. Ten hours of game play i could easily see as a new island or something. For Rockstar, they could offer something for the 10 dollars and be able to offer a new city download for more money. R* said they didn't include Staten Island in the game because it wouldn't be fun to play there, so I see no reason why they would release it as DLC considering thats how they feel..
