cashmerelc
I apologize if this has been asked. I looked around and didn't see any posts about this, but if I missed one or 17, then I'm sorry. Has anyone ever gone to a midnight release of a game and showed up around 12:30? And if so, was the crowd thinned out by then? I have my copy of the game paid for, so I'm guaranteed a copy, but I don't particularly care to stand in line for an hour or so prior to the release. Think it is a good idea to wait and head over around half an hour after release?
WillE
No, do not go at 12:30, go around 10:30 and take a place in line. If you go at 12:30 then you will stand around all night waiting, I witnessed it with Halo 3s Midnight Release. They only let so many people in the store at a time (well thats the case in my GameStop, which is in the mall, so idk how it works for other stores.) At the Halo 3 Midnight Release they opened the mall doors at Midnight, but I stood in line still in the amll, so I didn't get my game until about 1 A.M. cashmerelc
ugh, well thanks for the info Will. Guess I'll go wait in line with the rest of 'em
fagiooo
I think it's a good idea, that's what I plan to do. I have no interest in waiting in line like Halo3. Call your store and see how they're running things for midnight release. The manager at my local Gamestop told me he plans on letting 5-10 people in the store at a time which should move things quickly enough. eagle016
My local Gamestop said to come by at 10 to get a number and then come back at midnight.
