what time to start Q'ing?

Yeah, i'm going with a couple friends, i always thought of it as a walk in, get game walk back out. Didn't think it'd be a matter of waiting hours..

I'd say at least an hour early. The last launch I went to was Half Life 2 and that was quite busy.

The demand for GTA 4 is pretty big so there's always a chance you might not get it. Depends on how big your town is really.

I've never been to one but best to phone the shop, ask what time they stay open till, how many people they expect to get a rough idea and go after midnight... I'll be leaving at about 12:45ish. Shop shuts at 2.

It's best to check with your local store but i'm pretty sure it will be pre-orders only.

No traffic mid-night on Monday, so I'll just jump in the car 5 mins before it opens. Not that many people will get it at midnight, most of the population have to get up to go to work ... and this is why Tuesdays are a terrible release day.

I have'nt pre-ordered and I am going to a midnight release at GAME. They told me that all the non pre-order copies are being sold on a first come first served basis.

You don't have to go at midnight, if you've pre-ordered it then you can pick it up whenever you want. I would go on Tuesday morning.

Ive reserved my copy at gamestation in reading, there are also 2 Game store which are doing midnight releases too so I cant see it being too busy, i was planning on getting there at 11:45 ish and seeing how bad the que is, if its really bad I'll probably go to ASDA

Actually I heard it was more like 30 copies or something. That is with places like Sainsbury's anyway so I assumed it would be the same for asda. Could be a load of old arse though.

Im going down to game in Basildon at 11pm. I was thinking of just going to tesco at 12 but thats an extra hour i have to wait in my house. I just hope game accept my handwritten pre order number as I lost the receipt.

if all you midnight launchers and pre-orderers prevent me just going in and picking up a copy at about 10am then i'll be pissed. i'm not usually sucked into the hype, but then this is GTA. i bet the mofo's going to be sold out.

Im also from Preston! Well, between preston/chorley to be more exact! I just came back from town after hunting for an early copy from smaller shops, but couldn't find any! It was only big official ones like HMV, GAME, gamestation etc. I think il be going to a midnight release in ASDA though!
