Clockwork Ninja Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 Well all the reviews are pretty much in and it would appear the PS3 for the first time in an eon has a game that is very very very very slightly better (in terms of looks) then a 360 game. So well done Playstation 3!! However because the two versions are pretty much identical i think it is safe to say the DLC will make the 360 have a better version in the long run. Reviews wise it looks as though GTA4 will have the highest metacritic score ever making it the best game ever created (critics wise). Now people will say PS3 will have DLC too!! And they are right they will. But it wont be anything like what the DLC will be on the 360. The PS3 DLC will probably be a few extra maps to the MP which the 360 will get too. However the DLC is said to be "Episodic" and the PS3 wont get that. $50m saw to that! So if the greatest game of all time has at minimum an extra 20hrs of gameplay to it dosen't this make it the better version? It's a question of what would you rather have, a barely noticable better color system or 20hrs of extra gameplay? More is better then little in terms of media things imo. The question is would those who have a 360 version swap the DLC for the exact same version as the PS3. The versions are about equal and if DLC is of more interested to you than less pop ins and faster load times then get the xbox version. There is absolutely no point in making a thread like this though as it only lead to fanboy flame wars and if you think the xbox version is better then that is great, but no one else cares.
