Madgaz182 Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 Ok so ive watched a few videos now of gameplay, and some of the streams and the car damage is pretty decent this time around with impact areas that actaully make sense lol, just wondering if anyone knows, what else can be damaged on the cars, like maybe wheels falling off, all doors off roof crushed, (thats one thing the gta games lacked a good roof crush) it seemed like the last gta games the cars has a certain frame work that wouldnt get damaged? Hugef1 Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 I've seen leaked footage of a car which had hit something solid VERY hard at an offset angle, and one wheel had been jammed into the wheel arch, and wouldn't turn. Seddo Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 If you shoot the vehicle tyres and drive the vehicle eventually the tyres will just shred and you'll end up driving on the metal rims with sparks everywhere. Also if you keep wheel spinning in the same spot the tyres will set a light and eventually you'll be driving on the rims again. There's also other impact damage, depending on what you hit. nyaren Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 The helicopter damage impressed me. Depending on how badly you crash, the helicopter can lose its rotor blades or break apart. If your rotor blades make contact with a surface for a long time, they shatter, sending the helicopter falling back to the ground. Fun to do the top of a tall building. It didn't fill the sceen but it was quite alot...and pretty realistic! (IE. Not rising through the body of the car) and burning rubber/peeling out/whatever causes your tires to shread...awesome!!!
