aidan87 Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 can someone actually confirm it will get more crowded later on in the game I've played the game at my friend's house, he rushed through the game and he unlocked all the islands.. and yes I can confirm there are alots of peds in that part, specially in the star junction and busy areas in algonquin.. I mean, the whole point of the game is that it's a huge, living breathing city that has lots of people in it. I don't want a major metropolis to feel like Whetstone. Signatures are dumb anyway. Yeah, there are a lot of things I could care less about but the amount of cars and peds is NOT one of them. Imagine something like being in the desert in San An and your car blows up. Wanna walk?? I can tell you that, unfortunately, it isn't just the terrorist threat that causes the lack of pedestrians. Even on Friday night with the bridge open star junction was much more empty than it was in the first trailer we saw. The good news is, and you aren't going to believe me until you play yourself I'm sure, you don't really notice the smaller number of pedestrians after a while of playing, there are still more peds than in previous games, and most importantly there peds are more realistic and create more realistic and unpredictable scenes when you start shooting or throwing punches or mowing people down. The traffic is low,also number of pedstrians on the screen screams last generation consoles while Gta4 should be next generation,right?,please someone say it isn't so Plese dont get so worked of dear youll smear your eyeliner .
