He probably loooked in his stats and saw 155 mission attempts, 64 failed, and 91 completed. This is how it was in past GTA games, the stats would count all mission attempts. 10 of those 155 missions could have been failed attempts of the same mission. Seddo Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 On this Xbox forum i go to someone completed the storyline in 19 hours 17 minutes and a couple have completed under 24 hours and they said they never rushed or skipped the cutscenes. Seeing as reviewers said it would take 30+ hours to finish the storyline that is a bit dissapointing. I've been going for nearly 40 hours and I've only done about 60 missions. You always get sidetracked. Yesterday me and my cousin attempted to start a mission but we always had someone ring up for a date or to go bowling or have a game of pool with someone. It's so easy to get sidetracked. But doing all the side missions and adding multiplayer should whack the 'time played' stat up a bit. they probably didn't do alot of the side missions and other distractions. say, like on that sig, that the main story is complete and 94 missions done, or whatever, and thats only 61% then your talking about one monster of a game here. that other 39% going to be like another 10-12 hours of gameplay ATLEAST, and all depending how often you just waste time going postal, driving, dating, going out with freinds (darts, bowling, comedy etc). Then add the TV and Internet and your talking about a helluva lotta content. if you can do alot of that inbetween story missions you could really stretch the game out, especially if you take your time. Yeah, that's sorta what I was saying . . . I mean, I guess I mean, I've been playing 22 hours, and I'm only 15% through SA. (Although I do love to stuff around in Los Santos terribly with all the Ballas to shoot, and I DO imagine doing that in IV, too.
