Rambone2007 Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 I'm only asking this question to people who have both the 360 and the PS3. This way a fanboy war is less likely to break out. I've found that the vast majority of fanboys are those who only have one of the consoles. They feel like they have to defend their only console to the death, either out of insecurity or righteous zealotry. Anyway...I'm getting the PS3 version. The main reason is because it's a tiny bit better than the 360 version. That being said, if I had the 360 version I would still be so blown away that I wouldn't be able to put the controller down for hours at a time. Mainly for the online play (I know other people who have Xbox live + it's generally better) and the fact that there's defeinately going to be downloadable content. I have more friends on XBL as well but they're people who I play CoD4 with. I don't even know if they're getting GTA4. I mean....these guys are hardcore COD4 addicts. So, I could have really went either way. I chose the PS3 version, basically because the controller is so much better. Besides, it's the same controller I used for the last GTA games. StriderX7 Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 Gonna be getting it on my 360. The Live functionality should be awesome plus I've got tons more online friends on the 360. Also I find the 360 controller is much more comfortable in my hands for games that involve aiming. I know my friend won't let me borrow his PS3 copy so I'll have to go around his and see if the PS3 version has a noticeable performance increase over the 360 edition - then I might get a copy for the PS3 too.
