What makes you think they'll accept this one? i agree with you, Rockstar's games will not change, they will remain a subsidiary of EA, however T2 will accept the first good offer after GTA IV is released, they have stated several times they are all for a buyout, but only after the game is released. EA isn't like Hitler blitzing through the video game industry, taking over everything by force and horribly oppresing the masses. EA is smart enough to know that if they screw with GTA, they're going to lose a major cash cow. They aren't going to mess up one of the most famous video games series and ruin their financial year. I will NEVER buy another GTA game if Take 2 sells out to those crappy crappy game developers. Case in point? James Bond franchise. VAPORIZED by EA. Psyclon_Nine Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 another thing is that medal of honour airboarne actually looked like it might be a good game but then..i guess they probably spent 6months on the parachuting bit and 2 days on the combat.(BTW EA the combat was still the main part of the game) Yeah man, that game was pretty hyped, but it died FAST. "In 2003 EA purchased the license to NASCAR for 6 years, ending competition from Papyrus and Infogrames." I have been in the sim racing community for over a decade, and they are still disliked alot by many others. The last game produced by the amazing group Papyrus, was NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. This game is the best thing that has EVER come out. Several hundred this play this game, and it's been over SIX YEARS! Over 10000 cars painted, over 5000 tracks, over 200 mods, this game was my life for quite a while. Of course if you don't like racing, you won't get what I'm trying to say, but basically I also hope Take 2 doesn't sell out. We don't need anymore sh*tty games. I also have the last great console racing game, which was released by Infogrames, in 2002 before they also went out of business like Papyrus thanks to EA. Madden and NHL have been going purely backwards for 3-4 years, and all the versions they've made for the PS3 so far have sucked. Death to EA! T2 is a new rising star and EA is simply pile of sh*t. They are afraid that T2 will grow bigger than them and out shadow EA.
