Just wanna let anyone who pre-ordered from Amazon.co.uk that they may want to check thier order status becuase mine now says "Getting Ready for Dispatch". Just so you know though I had been previously told by Amazon that orders placed after April 8th may not be dispatched for the 29th. I actually ordered mine almost a year ago so that's probably why I'm getting mine as they operate on a first come first serve basis. Good luck and happy GTA'ing. It will probably dispacth tomorrow morning but it depends on the deliverty option you chose when you will get it. Free delivery - about 3-4 days. 1st Class - 1-3 days. I set it to 2 day shipping because I wanted it to arrive on the 1st of May, because nobody will be here to get it on the 30th. But now it has already been shipped and is expected to arrive on the 30th... I just hope to hell they don't leave it at my door. I live in an apartment building where everyone here walks past my door, including a bunch of kids that live here. If you got the standard edition then it will be posted through the letter box as nobody needs to sign for it, but the special edition comes in a large box so if you ordered that one then you may have to arrange for someone to receive it for you. An issuing bank will often decline an attempt to charge a credit card if the name, expiry date, or postcode you entered at Amazon.co.uk does not exactly match the bank's information. And they did send me a link to their site to change my payment method. I didn't see what was wrong so I did just press Confirm and then did they send me one more E-mail. Thanks for updating the payment information for your order. Your order will be paid using the credit card that you selected. We will notify you via e-mail if further action is required on your part. When your order is dispatched, we will send you an e-mail message to confirm the date, contents and dispatch method. If you requested any additional changes to this order, you will receive a separate e-mail to confirm those changes. S4-Gore Posted April 27, 2008 Author Share Posted April 27, 2008 A note to anyone getting it from Amazon: Amazon is supposed to charge the lower price if the price of an item is lowered between the time you place your order and the dispatch. The special edition price was lowered from £69.99 to £59.99 however I have checked my bank account online and they have charged me the higher price so a warning to you all is to make sure that you have the correct money in your account that can accomodate the higher price if the higher price is stated on your Amazon statement.
