It is just so damn addicting and it is like a great movie waiting to unfold. I wish games were like that. This doesn't even come close to The Godfather on PS2. This on the PC rocks my socks. How does it effect the performance? ps - great game, must have completed it about 4 times now, lets hope the new one is as smooth as the first. They set the bar so damn high. 88survivor Posted May 11, 2008 Author Share Posted May 11, 2008 Something about Mafia makes me play it more than once. It is just so damn good. Never realize there is two ways to get the senator's son, such as the car chase scene or the car just died scene. Including chasing Morello either to the country areas or to the airport. It took sometime to get use to the controls, but once I got the hang of it, all was well. I also did the chasing of the guy in the yellow car that took the money with him. Either a car would hit him or I push over the edge of the rail to watch his car flip over, being dead quickly instead of him getting out of the car. That's other favorite part. Schattenjager83 Posted May 14, 2008 Share Posted May 14, 2008 I don't want to sound weird here, but I still believe the PC version of Mafia is the best sandbox game ever released, and the best overall game of the 2000's. Great story, great city, great characters, gorgeous graphics (for the time), and they're still OK today, good music, good ambience, and an ending that you'll remember for a long time.
