Westside Los Santos = Soft?

Its like the Westside of Los Santos is awhole nother world from South Central, the Eastside, and everything north of the freeway. You got parts like Marina, Rodeo, and Richman that are 180 from Ganton. And even the turfs out West are nice like Santa Maria Beach. The beaches in Serville and East Beach dont got them attractions and sh*t to do. Only hood really jumping in my game in that part of town is Temple cuz of the Temple Drive Family VS Temple Drive Balla war. Westside GSF hood is out that way too in Verona Beach wit a Rollin Heights hood right across the street. Yet they aint even tripping on them Ballas as hard as everybody else do. I see them dudes hanging out more on their east border where they the only gang than the west border where the Ballas are across the street. Its like awhole nother mentality out West.

DoubleOG, I 100% agree with you. I've always thought the same. Because the East Side Los Santos has more gangs. The Ballas control a lot more turf in East Los Santos than they do in on the West Side. Practically the whole of East Side is controlled by gangs. Its the f*cking ghetto, man! But, I guess it makes sense because most of the West Side is the rich part of Los Santos. So, it makes sense that gangs don't control that area. But even such areas as Verona Beach and Santa Maria Beach don't have strong gangs. I had way more trouble fighting the Ballas on the East Side than I did in these areas. They were easy to take down! They had crappy weapons and were wiped out pretty easily.

The ballas on the west side of LS (especially around the beach) only have baseball bats and knives. Thats pretty soft because the ballas on the east side carry an AK47 and a SMG.

In most large cities in the united states like, New York, Boston, and Baltimore, the downtown areas are very nice, and its a never ending process when the blacks move back into the inner city and trash it, then the whites move out away from them back into the subs and fix up the ghettos and make them nice. Once the downtown area is trashed, and the ghettos are cleaned up by the whites, the blacks move back into the subs seeing that it has been revitalized and the whites then again move away into the trashed inner city. Never ending process.

OT: West Side Los Santos isn't exactly all Downtown. In fact, Downtown Los Santos is only 1 district and its in the heart of LS. The reason that the West Side doesn't have a lot of gangsters is because its mostly the rich area. The rich area doesn't necessarily have to be Downtown. Rodeo, Vinewood and all that are rich areas because R* based it off Beverly Hills. I was even surprised to see Ballas controlling the beach areas. WTF are gangsters gonna do at beaches lol!?!

I believe the gangs on the Westside carry melee weapons because it is very tame. Im sure if battle heated up, they'd carry heavier weapons so that they can defend themselves.

And its only tame over there because they properties are higher in price, and not to be racist at all, but generally the 'ghetto' families live in poorer areas of the city.

Yea, well they kind of need to dont they. Their territory is nearly gone, they always have upgraded weapons in the thrid wave but i am talking about when you are just cruising around, without starting a war. They have either nothing, pistols or baseball bats.

Westside dudes are way different. They seem like they are more chill than the rest of GSF. Westside GSF is nothing like the Black G. Stones in the Jays or Neighborhood GSF in Idlewood and Ganton. I expect violence in them places. When I go in the circle in the Jungles I expect alotta drama, or if I hang out in the pj's in Ganton wit Neighborhood GSF I expect something to go down. But I dont got that feeling in Westside GSF turf. Theyve never had the numbers as my other GSF hoods. Dudes be more concerned wit going to Verona Mall lol. But I still love all of Grove Street Family.
