gtavicer9
Whenever I click the 'Download' icon to download, it shows me this: http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/705/capturekb3.jpg The screenshot is in IE7, but I get the exact same error with FF. I have all adblockers turned off. I'm totally lost and have no idea what could be causing this. Can someone help me out?
Girish
I tried downloading a few things on both K-Meleon and Firefox and found no problem. Do you face this problem when downloading a particular mod or any mod?
gtavicer9
Any mod from that site. Perhaps it's because I'm using Firefox beta 5, but as you can see, the problem occurs with IE7 as well.
Jevon
A way around that, I think, would be to right-click on the link and "Save Target As" - not sure what's casusing it though. "Face Your Fears, Live Your Dreams" - No Fear"God was a dream of good government." - Deus Ex Machina "I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." - Stephen Roberts

It means the server does not understand what file it is sending, and labels it incorrectly as either text/plain or nothing. The browser understands it as that output, because it cannot guess what it would else be. The fix? Get the server to understand all these file types. E.g. for ".mkv": AddType video/x-matroska .mkv In your httpd.conf
