Grabbing 360 this morning

Made 600 bucks last night, charged people to party at my house, just so I could get a 360 and GTA IV on tuesday. What game should I get with the system to pass the time until Tuesday?

Can i just ask why you chose a 360 over PS3? I just wanna know what made you choose one over the other, if it was the DLC or you like the controller better ect... I'm not trying to start a fanboy war.

thank you! i thought i was the only person here that wasnt looking for a fanboy war. also i got the 360 version instead of the ps3 version of gta cuz of the downloadable content. (i have both ps3 and 360)

 

on topic: i would say either COD4 or Vegas2. Vegas2 is super addictive. i have both and both of them are awsome games.

I myself if I had to choose a console right now if I didn't have either *I do have both at the moment*, I would go with 360 as well. I just feel that Live is way more fleshed out than the PSN at the moment, maybe when HOME comes out and we get in game XMB it'll be a contender for online stuff, I also prefer the way the controller on the 360 is setup myself.. I had owned PS1 PS2 forever and ever and didn't mind the controller then. But once 360 came out and I felt that controller it just felt right to me, I love both of my consoles but I only bought a ps3 for littlebigplanet then it got delayed so now its basically just collecting dust at the moment. Both have their ups and downs heh. One last point, the fact that 360s come with headsets and EVERYONE can have a voice online is also something I really like, NO ONE talks on ps3 cause only warhawk players usually have headsets and even they don't talk much.

Apart from obvious GTAIV, go for Call of Duty 4 and Gears of War. Those are probably the two games I've had the most fun with. Other good games are Crackdown, The Orange Box and Guitar Hero.

Well to be honest, I'm only choosing the 360 cuz it's cheaper and it allows me more flexibility game wise. On top of that there's a bunch of games coming out for it that I want ie: Fable 2, Gears 2, that I just can't miss.

 

I would rather have both, but when it comes down to it, $600 isn't that much money when you're console shopping.

If you want something with multiplayer, COD4 or GoW which both have multiplayer and great single player modes, but for the best single player experience, Bioshock (Unfortunately no multiplayer)

Because the PS3 isnt the better console, even if the PS3 fanboys wont agree.

 

Both consoles have their faults.

Better online, More fps in some games, and there's a few others.

 

NOW! i realise that alot of you PS3 owners are going to go, "our console owns yours, we don't get the RROD", that is true, but PS3's have started getting error codes, they overheat, and a friend of mine, after he removed his ps3 from his carpet, coz he said it was over-heating, he said, there was a burn in the carpet.

 

Now, i was thinking on buying a ps3, when the 20gb comes out maybe, i just don't want to pay £300 at the moment, as i don't have lots of money to throw around.

 

All in all, i like the ps3 coz' of the free online, the hardware (which is pointless, 6 cpu's? rofl, come on), the axis controller etc, but.

 

The 360, is better for online gameplay, and more people use 360's, due to the online thing.

 

now, if ! the ps3 develops better online capibilities, and a achievement system like xbl, (and not that sh*tty trophy b/s), then ps3 will become more dominant, and just generally better.

 

But what will the future hold.

Wow. That game has some good graphics.

Yep. BUT you got to LOVE racing games, be able to play at 1080p and most important have a good racing wheel otherwise it's f*cking boring and not really fun.

 

I fit all of the criteria so it's trunkloads of fun for me
