PATT3N Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 I was lucky enough to pick GTA IV up on Friday afternoon and have been playing it pretty solidly ever since, I was a little worried when I first popped in the game I had been reading about dodgy cars, blurring, pop up, funny running animations ect ect Could this version of GTA fail to live up to the hype? have the last four years of my life waiting for the next gen version of GTA gone to waste? Let me just clarify to all the people who re waiting to play this game and are worried like I was, this game is beautiful and has so much depth that I just can't take my mind off it. I will admit that at first I was little unimpressed but after 30 minutes I found myself on the boardwalk at Firefly island at 7 in the morning staring across the water at the skyline of Alquonin.... I was there for a good two minutes staring in awe. I can't really say too much without spoiling this piece of art for you but trust me this game will take over your life and yes I have played the multiplayer and again I cannot put into words how beautifully it all works.... no lag, no pop up just you and your friends running wild in Liberty City. Online really is beautiful, me and my friend jacked a cop car and was heading over one of the bridges in Alquonin when two guys in an attack helicoper rain down on us with there mounted mini gun, my pal pops the window and starts taking pot shots with his hand gun next thing the helicopter pilot who obviously isn't concentrating slams straight into the Broker Bridge breaking the chopper into three pieces! Shop Spoilers>>>>>> There is a russian shop in Broker where you can buy jeans, shoes, boots, tracksuits, glasses and jackets and this is all done by walking up to the different clothes around the store and trying them on it works really well and the preview is instant so no waiting. Thanks in advance. there aren't a wide range SPOILER ALERT There are only 3 shops in the game and you don't have so many clothes to choose from and most of them are for old people u can buy individual and also a couple of whole outfits. crowstwo Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 for me the popups weren;t noticeable i mean i happened a few times but it's not like i was driving and i hit something and then i saw it was a pole, just small things cans, small boxes etc spoiler There are some costumes one like the one in Hitman, some ugly shirts really ugly, and some nice jackets black, beige, jeans blue and black some track pants, i only found 2 pair of glasses, and i think like 10pair of shoes. There are more clothes but most of them are ugly, there is one shop in the first city and 3 in the second city BUT 2 of them are the same so there are 3 clothes shops in all game.
