Boods Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 Hey everyone, To add to the posts about things like this, i need help. =\ I left pre-ordering slightly late, ordering on the 14th april from tesco, as they still had stock and said i would get it on release date. Now, that was all fine and dandy, however i cheak the website, and its saying that it will be DISPATCHED 29th. Placed Monday 14 April 2008, 9:44pm Status: Not yet dispatched Estimated dispatch date: Tuesday 29 April 2008 Dispatch To: Mr Matt Blackhurst Products ordered: 1 x Grand Theft Auto IV (Item in stock) I just called them and they said that I would get it AFTER 29th. Deuce Deuce Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 I don't think it's to do with the fact that you left it late, as I placed my order there in early April and had the same thing. I also rang them up, they said they would send it on the 29th - so I just cancelled my order and got it elsewhere. That said, some people on here have claimed to order from Tesco more than once and had delivery on day of release. To be honest, there'd be little point in cancelling now given the high demand for the game at this time especially. A few days aren't going to matter, and for all you know, it'll be at your door on Tuesday. But yeah, I was also confused as it said 'order now for delivery on date of release' but after clicking 'what does this mean?' it says they'll dispatch it then, not have it delivered for you, so I can understand your worry. The only reason i went with tesco was due to the on day delivery as i left it so late. shame theres no local game stores... oh well. CalC Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 urs isnt very late tbh, i had to order a 2nd copy for my m8s whos on holidays atm and i did that from tesco on the 20th! now i had the same feelings as you, i queried them askin what the chances were of getting X- order number on release day i got a reply: 'On viewing the details for the Grand Theft Auto IV, I can advise that our suppliers have now allocated a copy to you.
