Claude GTA3
I installed a dew mods on III (OnePiece's HD cars) and I backed up the original gta3.img. After I got sick of the HD cars lagging me a bit, I copied the original IMG to the models folder and replaced the modded one. After that, the game didn't load anymore, only the loadscreen would fill roughly 4/5 of the bar, and stop. Now I'm trying to uninstall and it says: "An installation support file could not be installed. The parameter is incorrect." Help me please. gtamodder
Do you uninstall by putting your GTA3 Install CD In, and try to uninstall from the CD? If so, the disc may be scratched. Try cleaning it, see if that works, I had this problem before, then I cleaned this disc and it fixed it.
Claude GTA3
Still the same, doesn't help at all.
gtamodder
I remember another fix would be to create a new Windows user account, that should fix it.
Claude GTA3
Nope, still nothing. Aw f*ck, why now?! I wanna play III again.
Vinnie
Try deleting the GTA III folder in Program files and reinstalling again. This should overwrite, after this uninstall again. Then reinstall and it should be clean.
