No money for GTA

Okay, I am not going to have money for the game on the release, so I'm going to trade in some of my games to get it. How many will it take so I can get the game? I have a gamestation (where I'm getting the game) and game. Which pays more? Should I get in store credit or cash?

whenever you trade games inyou always get more money if you get credit instead of cash. However if gamestation are sold out of the game and you can't wait i suggest taking the cash and checking supermarkets for it. Also it depends what games you are trading in, obviously newer games will give you more credit/cash when you trade in than older games.

 

What games are you thinking about trading in?

GAME pays more i had to do the same i traded uncharted 2 weeks ago and told them to put the 15 quid on a reward card. gotthe rest to pay for it now. Hope theres plenty left in barnsley lol cos i didnt pre order

Yeah I thought I would have the money but I have to pay for driving lessons and I owe my dad money so this is the only way I can get it. I'll be trading the games in today.

Depends what games you are going to sell bra. In Aus Ps2 games at some places collect a max of $5 and you're very lucky to get in a trade in of $20 for Xbox 360 games. I've got about 20 bucks on me i'm just gunna go skitz and sell everything i have.

BTW: i traded in halo 3 just before christmas to put towards CoD4, and game gave me £13 for it. and that was in credit

@andsteele: If I were you, I would stick them on Ebay, you may manage to claw a few quid more for your games than trade ins. I sold a Jurassic Park ps2 game on there last week for 13 quid, so its worth a shot if you have the right stuff to sell

Iv just traded guitar hero 3 and got £40 in game, it depends on what the store has at the time ,because i tried another game store not far from this one and they offerd £28 .

I just traded in Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Army of Two and Frontllines Fuel of War at GAME and i got £58 so i'm sorted

think it depends on the game and what offeers there is with the games you trade in.

i took pes 08 injust afther release and gamstation offerd bout 11 pound cos they had a offer on for 23 pound. went to game got bout 20 quid for it.

 

just recently traded fifa 08 at gamestation the gave me 22 quid gredit note. id say if you have gamestation ang game in youre town try getting quotes from both. and acept trade in as you say dont get much. also blockbuster video`s offerd 22 quid too but said i wont get gta 4 till the friday.

eb games and other such stores are doing a trade in three games worth more than 8 dollars each and get gta 4 for free..thats what i do..i trade in most of my games after im done because you can only play with one at a time right? whats the point of having games your never going to play again?
