Blowrider (Aztecas) STORYLINEIn 1977, a mysterious attack on a seaside mansion in Mainland China killed two parents, leaving preteen Alvin Lee and his infant brother, Terry, orphaned. They were taken in by Japanese Yakuza member Ahito Kiyasaki and brought to Hong Kong. Sixteen years later, Ahito journeys to Liberty City with Alvin, now a young man in his late 20's, to rejoin his Yakuza gang. However, in the plane stopover in Easter Bay Airport, Alvin, who had never been fond of Ahito, made the inevitable choice of ditching his adoptive father and ventured solo into the large, cold city of San Fierro. GTA: SAN FIERRO STORIES PROMOTIONAL MAP A map depicting the areas and whereabouts in the SFS incarnation of San Fierro. LOCATIONSan Fierro is the mainland in San Fierro Stories. It contains four major districts: North San Fierro, Easter Bay, Oceanside, and South San Fierro. The waters around San Fierro are named as follows. North of the mainland is San Fierro Bay. South of the mainland is Fierro Water. Everywhere else is simply Highsea. Around San Fierro are two islands. To the north, connected to the mainland by the Gant Bridge, is Bayside Island, a small townlet. To the northeast, connected to the mainland by the Garver and Kincaid Bridges, is a Restricted Area, which is off-limits to civilians. PLACE DESCRIPTIONS North San Fierro The thriving financial centre of a new metropolis, North San Fierro is where all the action takes place. With nightclubs, tourist attractions, and offices, this is the heart of San Fierro. Visitors can indulge themselves in all the San Fierro has to offer, from the Big Pointy Building, to the Windy Windy Windy Road, from the enormous Gant Bridge, right down to the cable cars. This is the only part of San Fierro that is accessible at the start of the game. Easter Bay The industrial centre of San Fierro, Easter Bay is filled with factories and the like. Solarin Industries operates its biggest factory in Easter Bay. Easter Basin is port of call to a lot of ships, and Easter Bay Airport is an international airport that transports thousands of people a day. This region also includes Cranberry Station, the main train station in San Fierro. Oceanside The residential centre of San Fierro, Oceanside has what your stereotypical Californian needs – two-story flats, 99c stores, clubs and bars. If you’re going to make San Fierro your home, your top priority should be Oceanside. The best beach in San Fierro, Oceanside Beach, is along the west coast. Dune buggies and picnics can be found around this area. Golfers can enjoy a 9-hole course in the relaxed Avispa Country Club on the southern end of Oceanside. South San Fierro The main attraction here is Foster Mall, the biggest mall in San Fierro. Hikers can enjoy a day trip to Missionary Hill, while sports fans should make a beeline for San Fierro Stadium, north of Foster Valley, which is home of the San Fierro 69ers. Aside from this, Fierro Water, the body of water bordering the very south of San Fierro, is the location of many supernatural sightings. Bayside Island Connected to Mainland San Fierro by the majestic Gant Bridge, Bayside Island is a piece of land comprised of two main parts – Bayside itself, a small village that has an excellent marina, and The Highlands, a large patch of grass filled with overgrown weeds. Restricted Island San Fierro’s army base, located on a circular island. Any civilian or unauthorised personnel who tries to access will certainly perish at the M4’s of the guards who are on patrol 24/7. The base also has protection in the form of iron wrought fences and SAM sites, to restrict invading stuntboaters or paratroopers. NOTABLE VENUES North San Fierro – Chinatown, Pier 69, Battery Point, Downtown, Financial, Paradiso Easter Bay – Doherty, Cranberry Station, Easter Bay Airport, Easter Basin Oceanside – City Hall, Ocean Flats, Avispa Country Club, Garcia, Queens, Hasbury South San Fierro – Missionary Hill, Foster Valley, Foster Mall, San Fierro Stadium Bayside – The Highlands, Bayside Marina GANGS & GROUPS San Fierro Triads The Chinese Triads have always been the largest gang in San Fierro. They operate out of Chinatown, a region of North San Fierro. Allied with Grove Street Families. Enemies are the Da Nang Boys and the San Fierro Rifa. Leader is Wu Zi Mu, or Woozie. Da Nang Boys Recently moved to San Fierro, this small-time Vietnamese crime family are considered violent and dangerous. They operate out of Easter Bay, as well as Pier 69, a region of North San Fierro. Allied with no one. Strong enemies with the Triads, consequently they also consider the Grove Street Families to be their minor enemies. Leader is Snakehead. San Fierro Rifa A Hispanic gang in the business of drugs. They operate out of the southern parts of Easter Bay and Oceanside. They also have turf around the Pleasure Domes, a nightclub under the Gant Bridge in North San Fierro. Allied with no one, minor enemies with the Grove Street Families. Leader is T-Bone Mendez. Grove Street Families An African-American gang who only have a small portion of turf in San Fierro. They own the garage and car showroom in Doherty. Carl Johnson leads the San Fierro part of this gang, as it was him who expanded Grove into San Fierro. Allied with the Triads, minor enemies with San Fierro Rifa and Da Nang Boys. Survivalist Group These are disruptive people who hope for disorder and chaos in virtually everything political. They are seen congregating in groups on the sidewalks of Bayside or in The Highlands. Allied with Yakuza, leader is Zeppelin, a former Vice City biker. Yakuza The Yakuza arrive in San Fierro in the mission 'Enemy of My Enemy'. Leader of the San Fierro portion is Ichiro Kamatari. Currently, their only turf is the hideout in The Highlands, where they stay with Zeppelin, Ichiro's good friend. Allied with the Survivalists, and, as a result of Alvin Lee, with the Da Nang Boys. Los Cabrones (Cubans) Los Cabrones are a Cuban gang who, as of yet, have only arrived in San Fierro, and are challenging the Rifa as the major Hispanic gang. Based in Vice City, the Cubans' allies are all in Vice City, and they have yet to make any friends in San Fierro. Leader; Umberto Robina. CHARACTER PROFILES Alvin Lee First Seen: In the Beginning.. Stefan.
x4. By the way, in 1971, Alvin is a pre-teen, which is before 13 (let's say a maximum of 12). 16 years later, he's a middle-aged man, yet he can only 28. Although, I'm looking forward to this. I unfortunately didn't follow Tony's Heart City scripts, although I've followed his Old Times script for a while, and it's ace. Good luck.
radicell
Thanks for the encouraging replies guys, I'll try not to disappoint. Here is the first mission, starting right after you click New Game. In the Beginning Introduction Strand CUTSCENE A plane is seen touching down onto the landing strip of Easter Bay Airport. An Asian man wearing blue-green long sleeves and jeans is then seen collecting baggages from a conveyor belt within a crowd of people. Beside him is an old man of about sixty years old. A narrative voice plays. ALVIN LEE (voice): I never thought it would come to this. I always believed that my family was not into that sort of thing. But we were poor, and I didn’t have a choice. We see the Asian man sitting in Starbutts Coffee drinking from a cup, with the old man sitting beside him. The Asian man is deep in thought as the narrative voice plays on. ALVIN (voice): My name is Alvin Lee. We had been orphans, me and my brother, our parents murdered mysteriously in the mainland. A Japanese man called Ahito Kiyasaki, a Yakuza leader, took us in and moved us to Hong Kong. The picture is now in greyscale. We see a charismatic Japanese man as he walks down the crowded Hong Kong streets, holding the hands of two children, one considerably older than the other, on both his sides. Their faces is visible while the crowd is blurred. ALVIN (voice): I never liked him. He would yell at and beat us at least once a week. Sometimes, when it was really bad, Ahito would do it daily. But we couldn’t run away, Terry and I, because we .. we simply had nowhere to go. On screen, we see an airport with Chinese text in the background. The middle-aged Alvin, together with the old man, Ahito, were waving goodbye at a young adult, presumably Alvin’s brother Terry. ALVIN (voice): It continued until Ahito decided we had to leave. He had to rejoin his Yakuza gang in America. But Terry didn’t want to leave, so we let him stay. In five hours, we’ll be aboard our second flight, to Liberty City. Tears are welling up in Alvin’s eyes. He stares at Ahito, who is reading a newspaper, with a look of contempt on his face. Then something brightens, something seems to illuminate his face. ALVIN (voice): I always knew there was going to be a day when I would leave him. Suddenly, Alvin pushes back in his chair and zooms out of the coffee shop. He runs at full speed through the airport concourse. We see Ahito trying to catch up, but his frail body makes him tired after a short while. Alvin runs towards a pair of automatic doors. We now see Alvin outside the Easter Bay Airport main building. He raises his hand, hailing a taxi. TAXI DRIVER: Where to, sir? ALVIN: Any cheap instant check-in hotel. FADE OUT/IN The taxi pulls up in front of a two-storey building with glass doors. Alvin hands the driver some cash and exits the cab. GAMEPLAY You are now standing on the road in front of the hotel in North San Fierro. An on-screen message instructs you in the basics of walking. There is a blip or red shaft of light inside the hotel, you must walk through the glass doors to get there. When you are in the red shaft of light, a cutscene will play. CUTSCENE HOTEL LADY: Would you like to check in, sir? ALVIN: Yes please. HOTEL LADY: Okay sir, your room is Room 206. Go upstairs and to the very end. ALVIN: Thank you. END OF CUTSCENE Mission passed. You are now standing in the hotel. Walk upstairs and an on-screen message will instruct you in saving your game. Walk into the diskette icon and save your game. PHONE CALL AHITO KIYASAKI (on phone): Alvin Alvin, where have you gone? Our flight is leaving in five minutes! ALVIN: I'm sorry Ahito. AHITO (OP): I'm your father Alvin. You know nobody in San Fierro! You have no one! You are no one! ALVIN: You're not my father, Ahito. Get on that plane and don't come back. I never want to see you again. AHITO (OP): (pauses) Listen to me, child. I will get on the plane. I won't look back. And you, my son, you will regret it. END OF PHONE CALL On the radar, one icon is available – the A icon for Alvin. It is in front of the hotel counter where you checked in. mark-2007
Hi, this sound great and looks real professional to me - just like starting up a GTA game and playing. However, does the game take place 16 years after his parents were killed (1971)? Which means it's '87 - yet CJ would have still been in Los Santos, Brian Johnson would have just about to have been killed and CJ would have left for Liberty not long after. From playing San Andreas I got the impression that CJ meets Woozie for the first time in the Badlands races and then the Triads-GSF alliance begins. Or do you mean by the italics at the start that only the city of SF is the same and all prior and future GTA events never happen/ed?
radicell
Stefan. and Mark, thanks for spotting the holes in my continuity. It was designed so that Alvin's adventures transpire after CJ has come to San Fierro and left for Las Venturas, so that the gang-to-gang relationships, among other things, would be consistent with those of SA. Unfortunately I got my years mixed up, but I've edited the first post to fix the error.
Lethal Nizzle
Awesome intro for the story, this is shaping perfectly. If you keep this up, it'll work out to be great like RtHC or Old Times. ^ Basically what he said.

radicell
Thanks for the support, guys. Note that, as more missions are added, the first post will be edited to include more info, so be sure to check it out. A Fresh Start Introduction Strand Alvin leans on the counter and converses with the hotel lady as the screen fades to black and the mission name appears on the bottom right. CUTSCENE ALVIN: So tell me, uh, I’m new in San Fierro. Where can I, you know, get around, find a job? Get to know people? HOTEL LADY: (grabbing some pamphlets) Here’s a map that might help you. Alvin pauses and stares at the map before walking out into the sunlight. GAMEPLAY An on-screen message alerts you that you can now use the map. Press ESC to view the menu and select Map. A second on-screen message instructs you in car-jacking. To jack a car, stand near it and press F/RETURN. There will always be a Tampa parked in front of the hotel. You must jack it, or another car, to move on with the mission. Once in the car, you will hear a radio announcement saying that all roads to Easter Bay or Oceanside, as well as the Gant Bridge, have been closed and that the residents of North San Fierro must stay there for a while. A heavy criminal seems to be lurking around North San Fierro, and the police wants to trap him in. Any civilian caught trespassing the roadblocks will be “dealt with immediately”. CUTSCENE ALVIN: (talking to himself) This is a dangerous city… I’ll definitely need something to defend with.. Alvin opens the map and looks at it. GAMEPLAY There is now a blip on the bendy road in Downtown. An on-screen message instructs you in driving a car. Use W to accelerate, S to brake, and A and D to turn left or right. You must drive to the blip, which is a hardware store. A blip appears inside the store. Exit your car, F, and walk into the blip. CUTSCENE Alvin is casting glances at the tools hung up against the wall. STORE CLERK: May I help you? ALVIN: Don’t you guys have something more…efficient? STORE CLERK: Listen son, I know what you mean. But this is a hardware store, not Ammu Nation! That’s way down in Oceanside, and you can’t get there because of the police’s roadblock scheme. ALVIN: sh*t, thanks anyways, I’ll just take a hammer. STORE CLERK: (passing a hammer over) Give me that map of yours. I know where some hidden weapons are in the city, you can go collect them. The store clerk makes some marks on the map and hands it back to Alvin. Alvin pauses for a moment and starts walking out of the store. STORE CLERK: If you need anything else, come by again. I’ll always be here. GAMEPLAY There are now three blips on your radar. You must drive to these blips in any order, and collect the “efficient” tools. The blip in Pier 69 is armor. Grab it and you will have 100 armor. The blip in the open space a bit north of your hideout is a Tec-9. You will get 50 ammo for the Tec-9 from this blip. This will fill up your SMG slot. The blip in the alley in Chinatown is a Katana. However, there is a Da Nang Boy standing in front of it. When you get close to the blip, a cutscene will play. CUTSCENE DA NANG BOY: Back off punk, this is my sword! GAMEPLAY The gang member will run towards you with the Katana in his hand. He will attempt to attack you with the Katana. You can shoot at him with your Tec-9 by holding RMB to aim and pressing LMB to shoot. When he is killed, he will drop the Katana and you should pick it up. Once you have collected all the three blips, an on-screen message says, “That’s enough work for one day. Go back to your hotel.” You must now find your way back to the hotel. There is a red shaft of light there, in which you must stand. CUTSCENE Alvin walks upstairs, on the way saying “Thanks for the map” to the hotel lady. END OF CUTSCENE Mission passed. +Respect. Save your game if you want to. An on-screen message says “Street outfit unlocked at Binco in Juniper Hill.” Again, there is one icon on the map, the A icon for Alvin, still the introduction strand. It is located in front of the hotel counter.
Rhoda
Very good, I loved how hands on it feels already. Not much of the "first mission feel" syndrome, plunged straight into the action.
Stefan.
That was good; again, I really felt like I was playing a game. Except, for me, it feels like I'm playing with IV's physics, of course.

mark-2007
Another nice mission, keep them coming mate It definitely has a GTA feel to it - although I thought getting a Tec-9 so easy was weird. For the first few missions of the games (if I remember right) - a weapon is rarely used and if it is it's a melee weapon.
radicell
Mark, I know what you mean. I've decided to keep the "first missions" feel limited to the last mission and this one. So as Masterkraft said, the protagonist is "plunging straight into action". As always, more comments and criticisms are welcome. Christine Introduction Strand Alvin leans on the counter and converses with the hotel lady as the screen fades to black and the mission name appears on the bottom right. CUTSCENE HOTEL LADY: Mr. Lee, how much longer are you going to stay here? This isn’t an apartment you see, you can’t make our hotel your home. ALVIN: Look ma’am, I know I’ve been causing you a lot of trouble lately, but there’s nowhere else I can go.. HOTEL LADY: I’m sorry, but you’ll need to get things going sir. Once your rent is overdue for one week, you will be evicted. ALVIN: F*ck. Alvin swings his arms angrily as he marches out the hotel doors. GAMEPLAY An on-screen message displays, “The guy at the hardware store will have some answers for you.” A blip appears in the same place as the hardware store from last time. You must get there and stop inside the red marker. CUTSCENE Alvin walks into the hardware store and catches the attention of the store clerk. STORE CLERK: It’s you again, son! I knew you would be back. New boy in town, eh? Looking for a job, eh? ALVIN: Yeah, how’d you guess.. STORE CLERK: There’s too many. Young men like you comes to Fierro, wanna get a job as a dentist or office worker, that sort of sh*t. I tell you the truth, son. In any gang-ridden city, like San Fierro, the only type of business, is gang business. ALVIN: I don’t quite follow. STORE CLERK: If a doctor’s clinic doesn’t pay their protection moneys, son, the gang will be all over the clinic. And then, before you know it, the doctor’s business becomes the gang’s business. So I tell you, son, if you gonna get down to business in San Fierro, then you better off starting in the criminal track. ‘Cause sooner or later, that’s where you gonna end up. ALVIN: That’s exactly what I’m here for. I’m a bit troubled as to where to start. STORE CLERK: No worries son. Here give me that map, I know a well-connected person who manages criminals for a living. The store clerk makes a mark on Alvin’s map. ALVIN: Thank you. STORE CLERK: Don’t thank me, I’ve done this a million times. GAMEPLAY A new blip has appeard on your radar. It is on the top level of the stairs west of Michelle’s garage. Drive to the location and walk up the stairs, where you’ll see a red marker in front of a door. Stand in the red marker and press LSHIFT to ring the doorbell. CUTSCENE The door opens and a middle-aged brunette steps out. WOMAN: Hello. What do you want? ALVIN: Err.. yes, uhhm. I’m here for uhh.. “orientation”. WOMAN: Ahh.. (pauses) so you are one of the new boys, eh? ALVIN: Uhh, yes. The guy at the hardware store sent me here. WOMAN: (laughs) Oh, old Jimmy the toolman. I should’ve known. You are lucky you met him. I’m Christine, nice to meet you. ALVIN: Uhh, you’re the person he was talking about? CHRISTINE: Oh yes, of course. Who else? ALVIN: (pauses) I had expected someone more.. never mind. I’m Alvin, by the way. CHRISTINE: Alvin, a name of bravery and courage. I like that in men. Let’s go eat, shall we? ALVIN: Uhh, sure. GAMEPLAY You must now lead Christine to the Well Stacked Pizza in Pier 69. You can drive a car or just walk. When you arrive, walk into the yellow entrance marker and Christine will follow you inside. The game will now instruct you in eating food. When at the counter, use LEFT and RIGHT to select your meals and LSHIFT to buy them. When you have made your selections, press F/RETURN to quit. A cutscene is shown of you and Christine enjoying your meals as the screen fades to black. GAMEPLAY CHRISTINE: Take me home, Alvin! Once again, you have to lead Christine back to her house. The easiest way to do this is to jack a car and drive her home. Once the two of you have arrived at the top of the steps, a cutscene plays CUTSCENE CHRISTINE: Thanks Alvin. I like men like you. Come see me between 12 and 3, okay? In the meantime, here’s some cash to get you through the night. Christine hands Alvin a wad of money. Then, she turns around and walks into her house. END OF CUTSCENE Mission passed. +$100. +Respect. PHONE CALL AHITO: Alvin. ALVIN: Ahito. AHITO: You really blew it, Alvin. Liberty City was your chance to become a man. I pity you for everything you are missing. You could have proven to me your worth, Alvin. You could have made your father proud. Instead, you ran away. You chose to deteriorate in a rotten seaside town. You made the choice of being a pussy over becoming a man. ALVIN: I know what I’m doing, Ahito. I couldn’t bear the idea of spending another part of my life with you. AHITO: What are you doing now, Alvin? Huh? Living on a rooftop? Living on the streets with nothing on? Me, I’m driving my Stinger around town with two blondes in the back. As your adoptive father, Alvin, I really feel sorry for you. END OF PHONE CALL You should now go save your game at your hideout in Calton Heights. There is one icon on the map, this time it is C for Christina. It is located where you met her in the last mission, at the top of the stairs in Downtown.

Oblivionz
Stefan., just get over him. He's gone. Stop mentioning him. @Topic, great story. I love how you dove straight into the action, as Masterkraft said. I'm going to guess Ahito is a main antagonist? mark-2007
Is it not antagonist? I maybe wrong - I often am. Anyways, I liked this one too - Christine seems an interesting character. Is Alvin gonna tap that? Or were you against girlfriends in San Andreas?

radicell
@Topic, great story. I love how you dove straight into the action, as Masterkraft said. I'm going to guess Ahito is a main antagonist? Thanks mate. And yes, with the plans I have formulated in my head, Ahito will most likely be the main antagonist. And regarding Christine, I don't think she'll be girlfriend of Alvin, probably just a "close" ally, but not girlfriend.
HawaiianHardHitter
I have to say brah, this game-script is impressive! You're following Tony's footsteps very well.
TonyZimmzy
I kept meaning to read this sooner, but I've had a bit of a flu and not felt like reading much. This is some really, really good work. I'm excited to see where you go with this. I'll try to keep up even with the release of IV.
radicell
Hey Tony, thanks for the comment, your excellent Heart City series is what inspired this. ** Orientation Christine Strand You can only activate this mission between 12.00 and 15.00. Alvin rings the doorbell and Christine emerges from her house as the screen fades to black and the mission name appears on the bottom right. CUTSCENE CHRISTINE: Alvin! It’s nice to see you again. Well, today we get down to business. ALVIN: You wanna go to the Pizza Stack again? CHRISTINE: No, no, no. That was pussy sh*t. You gotta get brave, Alvin! Go down and mix with all those criminals on the streets. ALVIN: Criminals? I don’t see any criminals– CHRISTINE: You don’t? Well, who are those people there? She points down the stairs and the camera turns to look at three Triad members dressed in black, standing on the sidewalk. ALVIN: Those are Triads.. CHRISTINE: And you think they abide the law? You think they don’t kill people? Well guess what buddy, you are wrong! Those f*ckin’ Chinese bastards, they the biggest criminals in town! ALVIN: (angry) Hey, who you calling a Chinese bastard? CHRISTINE: Alvin, Alvin! Calm down, I've got nothing against you. But those thieving Triads.. Every single criminal I’ve nurtured, every single one of them has ended up in a gang. Most of them in the Triads. You know what they do, Alvin? They steal people off the streets and make them into one of their own! ALVIN: Okay Christine, just– CHRISTINE: Come on, I need to unleash my anger. Christine walks down the steps, turns a corner, and enters the passenger seat of her car, a yellow-green Cadrona. GAMEPLAY An on-screen message says, “Go join Christine in her car.” When you have entered the drivers seat of the car, another cutscene will play. CUTSCENE CHRISTINE: Come on, Alvin, let’s take down some of those motherf*ckin’ Triads. GAMEPLAY A rampage-style mission will now begin. You have two minutes to run down 20 Triads with your car. However, the mission is easy because the Triads will spawn everywhere. Keep in mind, however, that they will try to pull you out of your car. Once you have killed 20 Triads, three yellow stars will flash onto your screen. This is a three-star wanted level, and you will be chased by SFPD police cars and a police helicopter. CHRISTINE: Get us to the spray shop, quick! A spray icon will now appear on the map, representing the Pay’n’Spray in Juniper Hollow. You must get there, keeping your car intact. An on-screen message will then instruct you in using Pay’n’Sprays. Drive your car into the Pay’n’Spray. It will cost you $100, but you will be cleared of your wanted level. CHRISTINE: That was great! You were great, Alvin. You’re on your way to becoming a pro. Now drive me home. Drive your friend back to her house in Downtown, and go to the red marker at the top of the stairs. CUTSCENE CHRISTINE: That was very refreshing, Alvin. Reminds me of my old days… Here, take this. Christine hands Alvin a large wad of cash. ALVIN: Christine, this a lot of money– CHRISTINE: With so many Triads down today, it’s the least I could do. She turns and walks into her house. END OF CUTSCENE Mission passed. +$500. PHONE CALL VOICE: Hello. ALVIN: Hello, who is this? VOICE: Are you the guy who was running down the Triads a few hours ago? ALVIN: Uhh… yes, who are you? VOICE: I am part of the Da Nang Boys. We share a common enemy. What do you say you come work for us, and we face the Triads together? ALVIN: They are not really my enemy– VOICE: Come see us at Pier 69. END OF PHONE CALL Save your game. On the radar, there are two blips. The C for Christine, located at her house. And a red and yellow star, for the Da Nang Boys. We will finish off the Christine strand before moving on to other employers.

radicell
This one is rather short, but full of action. The Cyclist Christine Strand Alvin rings the doorbell and Christine emerges from her house as the screen fades to black and the mission name appears on the bottom right. CUTSCENE ALVIN: Hi Christine. CHRISTINE: Alvin. You really impressed me last time. Your skills behind the wheel are about the best I’ve seen for an Asian. (she laughs) ALVIN: That’s not funny, Christine. CHRISTINE: Ah well, I sure find it quite funny. Anyways, no time to chit chat. There’s something I need you to do for me. Now normally, I’m really touchy about letting people into my house. But last night, I met this guy who really got my attention. He’s a cyclist, you see, and I have thing for athletes. Anyways, we had a really good time, but this morning, I open my purse, and it’s empty. ALVIN: So you want me to kill the thieving bastard. CHRISTINE: (pauses) Put bluntly, yes. And get me my money back. You’ll probably find him in the track in the Palisadas. ALVIN: Alright… Alvin turns and starts walking down the steps. GAMEPLAY You are now at the bottom of the steps. A blip appears to the west, signifying the cyclist’s location. Use any means to get to the blip. You will see the cyclist riding his bicycle around a circular track with his friends. Shooting your gun at him won’t work, so you must walk onto the track to trigger the next part of the mission. CUTSCENE CYCLIST: (brakes in front of Alvin) Yo punk, what the hell d’you think you’re doing? GAMEPLAY A bunch of the cyclist’s friends will approach you with their bare fists. They will all try to punch you and knock you out, while your target cyclist will run towards some stray BMX’s. He will hop onto one of these BMX’s and ride away. You must hop onto another BMX and give chase. The cyclist’s friends will chase you in the remaining BMX’s. The target will ride out of the track and will ride south on the most westerly road of San Fierro. If you have an SMG, you can try to shoot him off his bike. If not, you will have to chase him all the way as he takes the east-west road through Paradiso, Juniper Hill, and Calton Heights. During the chase, the cyclist’s friends will try to crash their BMX’s into yours, causing you to spin and lose speed. As the target cyclist enters Calton Heights, he will try to ride up the staircase on the west end of the Windy Windy Windy Road. However, he will fail the stunt and fall off his bike. An on-screen message displays “The cyclist has fallen off his bike. Waste him!” The target will now run frantically down the Windy Windy Windy Road and along the sidewalks until you either kill him or let him get away, failing the mission. If you manage to kill him, the game directs you to remove the target’s clothes, so that you can take it back to Christine and she can retrieve her lost possessions. A clothing pickup will be floating above the cyclist’s dead body, walk into it to pick up the clothes. FADE OUT/IN The cyclist has now been stripped of his clothes. An on-screen message displays “Get the clothes back to Christine”. Two yellow stars will flash onto the screen, you now have a two-star wanted level. Make your way back to Christine’s house in Downtown safely, and stand in the red marker. FADE OUT/IN Mission passed. +$200. +Respect. Save your game if you want to. An on-screen message says “Cyclist outfit unlocked at sports park in Palisadas.” The C icon is still in its regular place, as well as the Da Nang Boys icon. We will continue with the Christine strand for now.
