Stefan.
No, i didnt say that you guys were stupid, i said that it was stupid to talk it up before you had played it. I said nothing about the intellectual abilities if my fellow forumers being deprived in any way.Read more carefully next time please. No need to act rudely. @StanMarsh: GTA IV is set in Liberty City, not Carcer City.
gtamodder
Well, San Andreas is the best Imo, not rubbish. About 4 years later, I'll still play it. Its the best GTA Imo.
xNamexTakenx
Oh, wouldnt it be great if CJ made a cameo in IV, seeing as though he didnt die. Yeah, it sucks that we won't be seeing any returning characters from the GTA 3 canon. I'd really like to see some of the previous GTA protagonists or other characters. Its def. a farewell to them. Flesh-n-Bone
I hope they return to the GTA-3 canon story. It was just so great. After GTA4, release SAS. then GTA San Andreas v.2 and same with VC as well as GTA3. It continues the story of the game.

I said nothing about the intellectual abilities if my fellow forumers being deprived in any way.Read more carefully next time please. But you still did the same thing. You said GTA IV would get boring after 8-10 months. Plus, about the size issue, again the countryside and the open desert were wasted space. Just because the GTA IV Liberty City is about 2/3 the size of San Andreas won't mean the city will turn not fun any faster.

Ledgo
I am gonna have to say San Andreas will always be there. There is the experience of playing a GTA game for the first time, but San Andreas redefined that, my first two hours playing all I did was explore and was amazed. I will still play San Andreas, it's not a game you can simpley throw away once you play it for a while. However, there is a fishy feeling in my stomach GTA IV is gonna have a sick-twist to it or it's not gonna be what it's hyped to be. I think it'll be big, but it's not gonna be as big as people say it is.
Oblivionz
With one hour and 30 minutes left before the 29th, I have to say goodbye as well. I haven't played San Andreas in a bit over 6 months, and even then it didn't appeal to me as much as it did when I first bought it, and played for days at a time. R.I.P, San Andreas. !!GC!!
True, but for me at least, I'm more suited to the city. Exactly, thats your own opinion and thats fine. Maybe we are more suited to the country and find it rather interesting. SA is bigger and far more interesting because it has the country and desert. @Rashon Yes, i did say that it would get boring but you were also talking it up more before playing it, so we are eother both correct or both incorrect. Pick one. @Stefan It wasnt rude, i was just correcting you and you were far ruder than me in that matter.

Drippin'187
it looks to me that the main thing R* focused on this time was graphics. i know there was a consol change as well, but compare the graphics of gtaIV to gta sa, huge difference. i think they focused more on visuals and reality this time more then just a fun unrealistic game with average graphics. NO im not saying gta IV sucks or wont be any fun, im just saying it might not feel as much like a gta game anymore which may cause people to not connect to this game like they did with SA
MrMagic50
I'm ready to buy a console just to play GTA IV if it doesn't come out for the PC by the time I'm financially capable enough to actually buy a console. Anything for the love of GTA. girish is right here as i have all the games and i want to get them all so maybe i will buy a PS3 after all
Struff Bunstridge
I have to say that I feel the countryside and the desert were a little underdeveloped. It's fantastic that they were included, and provided a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the cities, but I do feel R* could have done a little more with them. I know the desert is supposed to be a bit empty, but a little less realism and a little more gameplay would have been nice. I don't have a PS3 yet either. I just had a cigarette break at work, and got talkign to one of the suits upstairs, who said he snuck out at 3am today while his wife was asleep to puy GTAIV, then sat up all night playing it. When his wife woke up, he hid it all and said he was watching the news. Even the management where I work are loving IV, it seems!
zaroba
the min IV comes out for pc, i say good bye to SA. i've played all the GTAs since the the first one came out (except the stories ones) and each one has been an improvement over the previous one. Frank'Arr
Nope, im gonna stay with SA. I dont believe IV is gonna live up to its hype. I mean, its gonna have the best graphics of any game anywhere, but its just gonna be a bit boring. Liberty City....again. f*ck that. Its not the same Liberty City though it's been changed almost completley. I think you need to give IV a chance considering it got a 10/10, but thats just my opinion. I was like, "Vice City is way better!" So, I gave up on SA. Then, a few years later, I decided to actually try SA. And guess what!?! I actually liked it! Of course everyone's gonna think the same thing about GTA IV. As others have said, it takes some time getting used to.
