I was so right.. Looked in his profile, born in 91' . I'm so glad a lot of parents won't let their kids have the game because of things they heard, less frustration on my end on xblive not having to hear whiny little kids bitching about everything.

You can buy M rated games in the states if you have a Drivers License and are above the age of 17. I do it all the time (I am 17, was also born in 1991).

Also, it may sound strange.. but I don't want to be the first one posting pictures..

I am more than certain I am not the first one to own the game, so why aren't there leaks all over the net yet?

 

I'm going to play it cool tonight and wait until tomorrow and speak with someone from Take Two Australia before I post *anything*.

 

You all will most likely think that I am lying. I don't mind.

I'm not going to bother defending myself past this point because it is useless. All you guys want to see are pictures and videos of the game.

I know you will try whatever you can, because these forums are riddled with immature kids.

Main reason I didn't post anything up until now is (well, apart from playing), no one actually did believe me when I said I'm setting out to get the game somehow, anyhow.

Which I don't see why it is so hard to believe.. almost every retailer in Australia has the game by now.

 

Anyone who really wants the game can use their brain and work out how to get it early. That is what I did.

It's rediculous how serious people take video games these days. They're just games. I don't think anybody would have cared if somebody were to post leaked footage of Super Mario 2: Yoshi's Island back when it came out in the old days. I don't really see how its any different, other than storylines being more interesting and complex... it's still just a game, its not like the coming of christ and everybody working in a game shop has to stand on a guard of honor.

Here's an idea. Don't play it online when you play it. Why doesn't he get a new email address? It only takes 5 minutes to sign up through G-mail.

If anything, leaks are good (if timed well, which any time now would be great). It boosts the hype to a max. Great publicity! And it's not like we can all get the game early. It just means we'd see pics/videos that tease us of GTA4's release. It doesn't stop us from actually buying GTA4, unlike leaked music or leaked movies.
